52 Weeks of Colour -White

Playing catch up!

I have a lot of white items in my inventory but I don't often wear all white together.In my opinion white looks far classier when mixed with other tones and classic white and black is always a winner.

 

The jewellery I am wearing is an old find from Opium Everday now re-branded as alaskametro, the store has no inworld presence it seems but they have items available on the Marketplace although I couldn't find any jewellery there.

52 Weeks of Colour-Sky Blue

I'm back, I had a nice week in Spain even though it rained for 3 days and now ready to play turbo catch-up.

I am cheating a bit and only wearing a fabulous jacket from mon tissu and a pair of freebie knickers.

The knicks are an old (summer 09) freebie from Attitude I will post the link below as Attitude is always a store that is worth checking out for your lingerie needs. The jacket is more of a light sky blue (lol)

I have had denim jackets in the past but this is by far the best one I have seen and I now need it in a darker shade too (shushh yes!!! I do)

Yep I am still wearing the Claire skin by Lara Hurley because I still love it. (although the latest skin from Glam Affair is tempting me)

Hopefully Spring

I swear I glimpsed a patch of blue sky today in jolly old England..yay! spring is coming.

To further encourage the half hearted English spring to sprung I chose to wear something spring like (well spring like in the UK means rain every other day instead of every day ).But I am ever hopeful and so ready for spring and summer this year, it's been a looooooong winter.

My dress is by Zenith and available at The Fashion Garret. This is a pretty dress and the sculptie parts work really well, there is a resize menu to accommodate all shapes and sizes.

I am a bit of a hat addict, any excuse and on one goes. This hair/hat combo is a past group gift from Anaphora, I am not sure if it is available still (L$50 join fee)

My sandals are from Skifija and are colour change (straps sole and jewel on the front) they are available both at the store and on The Markeplace (search Skifija).

52 Week of Colour-Umber!

I have to hold my hands up and admit defeat..the innocuous shade of brown known as Umber has me sitting in a corner rocking with frustration.

This post will be short and sulky in tone..blame THAT colour.

I shamefully have resorted to accessories and boots in the colour whose name shall never be mentioned again in my presence.

But looking at my picture now it's doubtful anything in it is remotely U---- * sighs!  All the 'browns' are merging into one big mud coloured nightmare shade.

On a much more positive note my boots are a new release from Slink and are priced at 99L$ for ONE week. or a fatpack of eight colours for 400L$ and they are just yummy.

Snatching a few

How true! when I am at the Sn@tch store all I want to do it make grabby hands and seize everything available.

This is one of my favorite stores for 2 main reasons 1.Diversity of styles & 2. Value for money.

Ivey Deschanel offers the majority of her designs in a fat pack (same style different colours etc.) for the equivalent price other stores may charge you for one item. Her design range is loved by the uber hipster girls and the fashionasta girls alike.She is also one of the most prolific creators on the grid and has new releases weekly.

I am loving the 'Trick Studded Leather Pants' which are part of the 'Making the Rent' release,also included are tanks in six colours and a black cropped fishnet shirt.

I didn't wear the tank but opted to wear another of  Ivey's new releases the 'Darling Bodysuit' which comes in a jaw dropping 10 colours.

To further highlight the diversity of the designs at Sn@tch I want to show you the 'Boho Swirls' skirt.

The skirt comes in a multi colour pack (seven colours) it's a full length skirt and very boho hippy chic but could easily be used as a more formal option. I particularly liked the aqua version of this skirt, it made me think of a tropical sky and sunny days.

I put it with yet another new release from Sn@tch, the 'Tapestry Tank' in aqua and headed beach side.

Unless you have been living under a rock you will have visited the Sn@tch store for sure. For you under the rock dwellers climb out, fire up your TP and head on down to Sn@tch.

52 Weeks of Colour-Ecru!

Another colour with multiple interpretations.  My inventory search for 'ecru' yielded a big fat zero, I didn't fair much better on the Marketplace.

I widened my search to beige/cream/biscuit, dug deep into my inventory and came up with my contribution to this weeks colour challenge (although I think the colour came out more 'champagne' than ecru *shrugs :)

Using a subscribo gift from L&S SWORDS, an old FLF pair of boots from Slink, part of a gown (old group gift) from Meghindo's. Finishing off with this weeks FLF jewellery from League

The pics were taken in the totally amazing freebie from Behaviour Body the 'Photoroom Prop' the curtains, floor and table are texture change and there are 12 pose options, this is a great gift!

Mid writing of this post I went shopping (attention span of a fruit-fly) and found this hair/hat combo from Dura, after making grabby hands at it for a few minutes it was mine.

This is a collaboration between Dura and Arai it's very unique and stylish IMO. The hat is colour change and one option is an ecru-eque colour so decided to include it in this weeks colour challenge post.
