52 Weeks of Colour-Melon!

After a mini crisis over in Asia Land here I am with this weeks contribution, Melon!

I didn't know Lelutka had an outlet. I really should pay more attention to my surroundings when I TP into a store instead of being like a heat seeking shopping missile.

I picked up a couple of things, one of which is the outfit I am wearing here

'CAI' includes the ruched ankle trousers and off the shoulder shirt. It comes on all layers and would work equally as well with other trousers/skirts/shirts etc. It cost 175L$ and like all Lelutka designs is just wonderful.  I am wearing the Misty Rose, it is also available in other colours.

My shoes are from Pixel Mode and are usually my 'go to' black shoes.

The belt was a freebie from The Marketplace. The pack included black, brown and grey belts in 2 different styles (6 belts in total). They fit me with very little editing which is always a bonus with belts in SL.

While I was at Lelutka I picked up the 'Inverted' hair in the dark brunette pack. Yes! I know it's not a new new release but I couldn't quite make my mind up. Did I need another 'bob' ? a Lelutka hair textures bob? Hell yeah I did.

The off the shoulder shirt needed a big fabulous piece of jewellery. The Amor'e necklace by Yula Finesmith fitted perfectly. The necklace is scripted for metal and stone colour change.

 I am wearing the Emma skin from Zoul skins. I added one of the' Deco Shadow' makeup layers which is July subscribo gift from Miamai. Hit the subscribo up I think it's message 3

52 Weeks of Colour-Patriarch!

My interpretation of this weeks colour looked OK until I started editing the pic and now it's too pale :(

My dress is the group giftie  from Purple Moon, to celebrate reaching 8000 members. I loved the total frill overload and the 'when the heck am I ever going to get a chance to wear this?...but it's pretttty and I NEED it' about the dress.

As it only cost me 50L$ to join the group I chose to use it for this weeks challenge (frugalista inspired post again this week)

My shoes are one of the many group gifts available at Baby Monkey. I used to shop there a lot when I was new in SL. Pixieplumb Flanagan continues to design and sell a huge range of shoes at very reasonable SL prices.

My hair is a really old hunt gift from Clawtooth. I don't know if it's still in-store. SL is being a bi*ch to me today and wont let me TP anywhere so I am unable to check it's current availability out.

I just heard that Amy Winehouse has been found dead. I love her music. The world has lost another creative but tortured soul. Such a waste of a great great talent. This is one of my favorite songs.

52 Weeks of Colour-Lemon!

This was an easier week for me. I had picked up the dress on a lucky board at awram-viie a few weeks ago hoping that a pale yellow/lemon would eventually come up in 52WOC. The dress isn't on the lucky board now but can be picked up in store for 125L$,  it is also available in pink or white.


My braided hair is from Discord and was a very reasonable 90L$ as part of the 'La Venta Eventa' event. The pack includes the tattoo hair base and the ponytail in five colours (ash blonde, discord red, milk chocolate, pearl and raven black) I am wearing the milk chocolate but all the colours are very wearable.

The Florence heels are from Perfect 10. They are actually a slate colour but all full priced shoes at Perfect 10 can be changed to all black or some parts black. As you can see I opted to change the shoe to all black and the laces to a pale yellow colour.

That's week 37 in the bag. Next weeks colour looks a little bit more daunting though.

52 Weeks of Colour-Celadon!

Who knew there were so many shades of green?
 Wikki describes celadon as:

A term for ceramics denoting both a type of glaze and a ware of a specific color, also called celadon. This type of ware was invented in ancient China, primarily in Zhejiang Province. Celadon has since been spread to various regions in Asia, such as Northern Thailand.
 
Hmmmm!?!? Okay! further Wikki walkabout resulted in:
Celadon (pronounced /ˈsɛlədɒn/) is a color that is a pale tint of spring green. Anyhoo enough wikki speak.

Here is my interpretation of Celdaon.


























My tunic/dress is from Ero Rabbi and comes with a system skirt (eekk!) and a shorter flexi attachment which I couldn't make work for any of the shots I took (hence the sitting down pic). The sleeve design is very flouncy looking which I like.  All in all it's a great dress/tunic,I got it from The Marketplace and will definitely add Ero Rabbi to' my stores to check out' list.

The camo shorts are part of the S&SH hunt gift from Sassy. A female and male version are included along with a tube top for the ladies and a tank top for the gents.

The hair you will probably recognise as one of the freebies from this years Hair Fair and is by Raspberry Aristocrat. The cutsie side bunches are fun and the hair texture is great.

My earrings and necklace are one of the group gifts available at Baby Monkey. The beads are colour change via a menu.

My ankle jewellery is part of another S&SH hunt item, this time from Exodi and includes necklace, earrings,belly chain/belt ,bracelets and anklets.

The Sand & Sun Hunt goes on until July 20th

I am trying to work the 'cool beachy barefoot girl' in the Jolie Pieds (much prettier than SL) feet. I picked these up at the last Slink sale and it is the first time I have tried them. The skin hud seemed user friendly although I used Colour Cop and entered the RGB values in to get a better skin match.

Lastly I am wearing the 'Emma' skin from Zoul. There is a pack of 8 makeup's in five skin tones (cleavage and non cleavage options) for a budget conscience 700L$. Zoul is fast becoming one of my favorite skin stores.

52 Weeks of Colour-Electric Blue!

I was thinking today what a lazy a blogger I am. I shop a lot and style outfits a lot but don't seem to able to get them to the blog stage.hmmm must try harder Ms Romano.

This week the weather has been great in the UK and I would have loved to have a dress just like this to wear. It's from DCNY.  I like the crochet texture and the 'Oooh! you can see flesh, or can you?' a very clever design.

The skin I am wearing in this post is 'Alma' by {essences}. It is one of the 10L$ skins, yep! just TEN Lindens. There are eight other make-ups available or buy the fat pack with tattoo hair/blush etc for 100L$. There is another skin available for 10L$ 'Sarah' (eight make-ups available too). I encourage you to drop by and demo at least

I discovered a new store this week 'Arata Shouten' and just had to get yet another 'bob'. The hair comes with several options, no fringe (bangs) a blunt fringe or the choppy fringe worn in the pic, one colour costs 90L$. There are also clothes and skins available in store.

Last but not least is my wonderful jewellery 'Kiowa' in turquoise, it's from Elemental Earth Designs and simply fab-u-loussssss!
