52 Weeks of colour-Patina

Apologies! This will be a simple and short post. Why you might ask?  Well as you asked I will tell you. I have a cold and it's a well known medical fact that having a cold allows you to be lazy and whiny and write short blog posts. 

This week was a struggle for me, I couldn't find the right shade. This is not it either but it's as close as I am going to get. Another well known medical fact is that the common cold impairs your colour/shade perception, (yes! yes! it's true)

A real quickie post, I just wanted to show you the cuteness that I found at 'Nylon Outfitters'. The 'Banged Slick' pack includes a hair base and five matching up'do's (basic bun not shown) I am wearing the brown but I also picked it up in black, soooo cute and unusual Love it!

Hola! GOLA!

I always forget to credit the poses I use in my blog posts (apologies pose making geniuses) I am making amends by showing you a few of the great poses by Ransie2 Oleander.

Her store GOLA has a very nice selection of single and couples animations. Her latest releases are two pose huds. Each of the pose huds contains 10 poses which can be cycled through by clicking the forward/back arrow.

The poses in the first pic are from the 'Balloon Girl' hud and the second picture is showing poses from the 'School Girl' hud. A pose ball can also we rezzed directly from the hud which is pretty cool. If you are looking for some new poses check out GOLA. The hud packed with 10 poses cost a tiny 80L$.

52 Weeks of Colour-Iron

I seem to have acquired the ultimate accessory for this weeks challenge, got me some arm candy, man pixels. Lucky me *wink.

The dress I chose to wear is an oldie but goodie from Ibizarre. The texture of this dress is fabulous and incorporates a few shades that are in the 'iron' colour family. I tp'd over to Ibizarre to check that the dress was still available and wow! the store is much smaller than I remember (sign of the SL economy maybe) I didn't see the dress currently for sale in store.There are a few really cute things that are for sale though.

The 'updo' is from Damsel Fly, I like most of the hair attachments from Damselfly. A store always worth checking out if you want/need a messy updo.

Some bold jewellery from Mandala and the 'Kylie' shoes from Gaeline Creations completed my look for this weeks challenge.

52 Weeks of Colour-Electric Indigo

Thank Goodness for TOSL this week. I spotted this little sweater dress and tp'd right over, so it's from a template! and similar dresses are available in other places. I don't mind really, it was only 99L$ and perfect for this weeks colour.

I pulled out an old freebie hair do from Lelutka and re-tinted the headband to coordinate with the little sweater that thinks it's a dress.

I was stalking the Marketplace for mesh boots and happened across these beauties. They are from G&D and come in 3 sizes. I am totally loving the mesh boots. If you are STILL not on a mesh compatible viewer you are missing out BIG TIME.

My earrings are a group gift from Purple Moon to celebrate reaching 11k members, a matching necklace is also included but not worn in the pic. The bangles were from Mariposa, the store closed a while ago :(

52 Weeks of Colour-Coral

It's cold, raining and windy here in the UK. I need to feel the sun on my back. as that wont be happening in RL anytime soon, I went for the next best option, a SL beach for this weeks colour.

I chose another mesh item from Jane this time a maxi skirt. I liked the look of it with the bikini top but it would also look great with a gypsy/peasant style shirt and chunky belt and jewellery.

The bikini top is one of the items included in Attitudes 2011 freebie. The palette of oranges fitted nicely with the coral theme.

A wind blown hair do was needed and 'Artemis' from Exile is long, casual and a bit messy looking.

As I was being a beach babe this week  I wanted a more tanned skin. I am wearing 'Chloe' in tan by Belleza.

My accessories are the Big Shades glasses from AMD, which were the With Love (again) hunt gift. The bracelet is the 'Friendo' bracelet from Miel. Although you can't see it the bracelet has lettered beads which can be changed via a hud.  Of course mine reads 'Asia'

As I didn't want my fugly avatar feet on show. I found the old but still great prim feet from Slink (reminder to self check out the mesh feet there)

Nothing plain about this Jane

Jane is having a SALE, do I need to say more?

I have demoed the mesh clothing from Jane's previously but always had an excuse  reason not to buy, (usually fear of trying a mesh enabled viewer). Anyway I am now happily using the Firestorm viewer and I am a mesh addict.

A very quick blog as I need to go and buy EVERYTHING mesh at Jane's store. Also check out the other stores at Zyraa, they are also having a sale. The hair worn is from the Raspberry Aristocrat sale, 150L$ a colour pack.

52 Weeks of Colour-Champagne

Sooooo it's back! 52 Weeks Part Deux hurrah!!

I am starting off simply and building up to a big finish, LOL... I probably wont even remember what I started with in 52 weeks.

Thanks to the latest offerings from The Dressing Room I sort of knew what I would build the outfit around. R.icielli have another a bundle of goodies available there, part of which is the skirt worn.

As the skirt is a bit glitzy I wanted a plainer shirt to wear. I found this while checking out the ongoing sale at Coco. I was also reminded that I owned the boots from Coco.

I am currently feeling the love from the patterned tights from 'Jolie' available on the Marketplace. They are very pretty and really with all the snowy sims around at the moment it's just too cold for bare pixel legs :)

My go to skin is still the Eos (Eos1 I guess as R.icielli has now released Eos2) I couldn't find the Eos skin when I checked, maybe it's been discontinued :(

A quick rummage through my [elikatira] folder resulted in the Changes hair do. The headband is colour change and luckily had a colour that matched the lip colour on the skin (yes I am just that sad. I match headbands to lip colours)
