Introducing Roxanne

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to introduce you to 'Roxanne'. She reminds me of a  beautiful  Eastern European super model (least she is when worn on my shape). She is one of the newest releases from YS&YS.

Okay down to business, the full pack includes a tons of options. For starters there are 14 makeups with or without teeth (I am totally loving the teeth on this skin). A freckle tattoo layer is also included.

Hair bases in brown and black are included but not worn in the pics.

Onto brow options, the default brow is a mid brown colour and great (I have a brow fetish I think,haha). Also included on a tattoo layer are black, blonde and red brow colours. Several hairbase/cleavage/brow combo's are also included.

4 sets of tintable tattoo layer lashes and five fantastic lip colour/glosses further add to the versatility of this skin.

As with all of my skin posts, the images have only been brightened slightly. The pics were taken using [AnaLu] studio9, windlight settings. No further cosmetic editing has been done. These are really pretty skins.

The Roxanne is an extremely well made skin, although I didn't take any body shots (too busy falling in love with the gorgeous face) the body is perfection but don't take my word for it, go demo 'Roxanne', you wont be disappointed.

Sunny Afternoon

The weather here in England is great at the moment, it really feels like spring is here. A perfect activity for a  spring afternoon is a bike ride. I grabbed my bike from 'What Next' (dog not included) and headed out.

As there are no skirt 'blowing up' breezes in Second Life, I felt pretty safe wearing the 'Any Occasion' skirt in a sunny yellow colour and a coordinating 'Floral Top'. Both items are new releases by Izzie Button. The skirt and shirt are available in nine colours.

My cute freckled skin is another new release at Izzie's. The 'Cassandra' skin comes in freckled, non freckled, light brow, dark brow and cleavage, no cleavage options, with a range of tattoo eyeshadow and lipstick options. The skin is available in six shades. Izzie also released a set of lip glosses and eye liners to compliment the 'Cassandra' skin.

My hair is from 'Nylon Outfitters and my shoes are 'Kylie' from Gaeline.

52 Weeks of Colour-Tea Green

First things first, I am love with these hippo's, how adorable are they?. They inspired me in this weeks challenge. I wanted to spend some more time with these sleepy little girls so the obvious choice was a mermaid.

My mermaid tail has been re-coloured in Photoshop (the original colour is a very pretty blue). I found it on the Marketplace and unbelievably it was a freebie.

Continuing on with free items, the Mana hair is/was a group gift at d!va.

The mermaid costume does include a top but I chose to wear an old bikini top in a pale green.

52 Weeks of Colour-St Patrick's Blue

Welcome aboard 'Colour Challenge Airlines'. Our blogging time will be around 25 minutes today.Please make sure your seats is in the upright position and any SL bags are stowed safely away.

Flying us to SL today is 'Captain Sam'. My name is Asia I will be taking care of all our First Class passengers.

The 'One Button Blazer' from Ison started all the flight crew silliness. It reminded me of the smart jackets that trolley dollies wear. I teamed the jacket with a little pleated skirt from Hanamachi. I found the obligatory flight attendant scarf at FFL, it's Miamai's Gacha item. (click, pay, receive one of several colours- I was lucky I got blue the first time around) My sensible shoes are the Mary-Janes from Hoc.

Field of Dreams

I finally got to visit the 'Fashion for Life' event. My first stop was G.Field.

I have always really liked Cerberus Noel's designs. I picked up the' Long Cuff Boots' in sepia and the
"Lucy" Wrap Mini Skirt & Top in mint.

The boots are mesh and come in three sizes. A demo is available. There is also a demo of the sculptie skirt.

Waiting for spring.

I like feminine things so felt instantly in love with the 'Darleen' blouse from Bare Rose. June Dion continues to produce unique and inexpensive items at her store. The blouse also comes with a prim attachment, I preferred it without. White, pink and light brown blouses are included in the pack, also leather shorts.

I teamed it with the pants from Izzie's. The pants are called 'sweat' pants. They are waaay more than just sweat pants. The shape and texturing on the pants is great.

Staying with Izzie Buttons designs, I am wearing the Brianna skin in caramel. This is one of the new tones from Izzie's.

I wore one of my favourite blonde 'do's, the A817 hair from Tram. I like short hair sometimes in SL and this is a great style.

Lastly shoes! An oldie but still a goodie are the  * Shanti Snow Leopard  shoes from Maitreya.

Hang on to your hat

The 'Yara' dress from J.H. Couture is a great shape. With a  blouson top and 'Juliet' shaped sleeves leading to a short tight skirt. A colour match  buckle adds a touch of adornment to the waist. The dress is mesh and available in six colours and five mesh sizes.

It's said that people are divided into two categories, hat wearers and non hat wearers. I am a nervous hat wearer in RL  (wear the hat, don't let the hat wear you) but in SL bring it on. If you fancy being a hat wearer TP over to Mimi's Choice and grab the hats from Gabriel. Five hats, all black but with different coloured flower decoration for 1L$.

Buttoned Up Beauty

PICTURE HEAVY POST!

Izzie Button's latest skin release 'Brianna' is just amazing. I had seen the 'Brianna' skin on lots of blogs and feeds in the last couple days and thought wow that's a cute skin. I wasn't sure if the skin would work on my shape though as I am not a typical 'cute' looking avi. My shape is tall and my features are more angular (difficult to explain) I usually aim for a more mature looking avi, not that I have anything against the cutesy little girls in SL, it's just not for me.

The pics below have not been enhanced. I only combined pics to show the make-up layers and to cut down on a really photo heavy post.

They were taken on mid graphic settings. The only other thing worn are tattoo lashes in black. This is how the skin looks in real time, well real SL time at least :)

OK let's get to the details. Each pack contains a nude face, in freckle or non freckle, light or dark brows and cleavage or no cleavage. Then the fun really begins with the tattoo make-up options. You get ten eye shadows, ten lip colours, shape (not worn) and the glove layer to wear with prim nails. I am showing a few of the combinations but the possibilities are endless. There are separate lipstick and eyeshadow packs available too.

Below are several of the vibrant lip colours that are available to buy separately.

Boy oh boy did it work on my shape. I believe I have found a contender for my everyday skin and that's epic for me lol (think choosy and then triple it hehe!)

The skin is available in six tones-pale, sun kissed, tan, caramel, deep tan and mocha. There is also a red head edition with red brows available Each tone pack cost L$990  which has to be really the bargain of all bargains.

52 Weeks of Colour-AquaMarine

This is one of my all time favourite colours, so it was an easy week for me.

It got even easier when I saw this dress at the Collabor88 event. It's the O-Floral Maxi Dress dress from Hucci.

I wanted the dress to be the prime focus so I kept my accessories to just my charm bracelet from 'Virtual Impressions' and my large hoop earrings from 'Erratic'.

My wild curls are provided by' Likeli's' -Black Curly Fro. This is a wild funky do. Two versions of the style are included. The one worn and another with more of a side sweeping fringe/bang. The hair base is also included.

I am wearing the 'Brianna' skin from Izzie's. The face is stunningly beautiful and comes with a lot of tattoo make-up options (I am in the process of taking pics of the full make up range..so more to follow)

My old prim feet from SLink were dug out from the dusty corners of my inventory to complete my Aquamarine look.

52 Weeks of Colour-Avocado

I wanted to do a chilling out, casual look for this weeks challenge. My dog Katie insisted she be included in this weeks pic (she is such a diva really)

This week items are a mixture of old items,group gifts and a new skin.

The 'grace' mesh dress is available by subscribing to the 'Jane' group. I hit the subscribo at the'March Mesh Madness Event'. Three colours are included, khaki, navy and apricot. The avocado (ish) coloured pants are from Sn@tch, and part of the 'Warm in Here' pack.The shoes are from Deco.

My hair is the 3k members group gift from ""D!va"". The hair is scripted resize and flower on/off.

The skin is 'Julia'  from YS&YS. I will do a more detailed post for this amazing skin later.
