Summer Rumour

Summer is rumoured to be around the corner and with the new separates available at J.H. Couture I am ready. Jada Humby's latest mesh releases are so cute and versatile.

The 'Pia' top has a spaghetti strap and ruching on the front (with a plain back). There are ten patterns/colours available, I am showing you just a few. Standard mesh sizes of  XS to XL.

The coordinating 'Sunny' mesh shorts are a nice length with a turn up effect and patch pockets. The shorts are available in ten colours. Sizes XS to XL again are included, demo's are available for both the shirt and shorts.

52 Weeks of Colour-Thistle

The 'Low Rent Jezebel' dress reminds me of the kind of dress you would go dancing in. A sultry señorita waiting for her tango dance partner perhaps?

I snapped up the dress at the Sn@tch 'Pre Summer Sale'. As with the majority of Ivy's designs, several colours are included in the price. Along with the rose colour (worn) you also get aqua, beige, blue, sage and violet.

My tousled curl up-do is WMO003 from Boon. Great hair, uninspiring name :)

My (OMG! who could dance in these heels in RL?) shoes are an old item from Angelic Lefevre.

My accessories are the 'Faceted Wood Bangle' in purple from Izzie's and the 'Chum' bracelet from Miel.

Flower Power

Feeling like a 'Haute Couture' model today in the one shouldered jumpsuit from R.icielli  It's rigged mesh, sizes XXS to L are included.

My hat/hairpiece is by LaGyo and very delicate and really pretty.

Both items are available at the latest round of  'The Dressing Room' and cost L$70 each.

To complete my tone on tone look I am wearing the 'FEMME' shoes in turquoise, from N-Core.

My hair is another new release from Tuty's. The 'Adorable-Updo' . A single colour pack costs L$150 and includes both hair base and hair attachment, I am wearing dark brown.

Who likes short shorts?

Who likes short shorts? actually I do, when they are the latest release from Izzie's. The 'Ripped Denim Shorts' are teeny weeny denim shorts without being 'hoochie mama' style. They are available in, black, blue, blue cyan, brown, light blue, light blue cyan, light grey, vintage, vintage dark and dark blue

I teamed them with a boxy leather jacket from ' S H I', the 'Lily' sweater from 'Purple Moon' (older item) and the 'EUPHORIA' boots in purple from N-core.

I spotted the' The Vert' hair from 'LaViere' on the feeds and tp'd over for a demo,kerching, sale!

My goofy grin is courtesy of Izzie Button, lol well not actually Izzie herself but the tattoo layer teeth she released recently.

Curve Appeal

Curve appeal with this slinky mesh dress from Mashooka. The 'Ranah' dress has a strappy neckline and cut away sides. This is a dress for the grown up girls who are not afraid to show off their assets

The dress is available in coral, electric (worn), gold and midnight. The newest group gift from Mashooka is Ranah in a 'nude' colour.

Round One

Just a quickie post to show you my weekend 'haul' so far.

N-core have reduced 14 of their shoes/boots to the special price of L$295 (until Tuesday). I grabbed the 'Femme' shoes in turquoise.

My shorts are mesh and from MOLiCHiNO, they are available at the latest round of TTBB, a demo is available, they matched nicely with the shoes.

My luscious red locks are the latest group gift from Clawtooth. This in not mesh hair but it's a great texture and colour.

My shirt is an old item from Fr.day. I tp'd over to see if it was still available, unfortunately I couldn't find it. BUT did you know there is a discount room? there are a few hair styles at L$40 per colour pack. There are tee-shirts, and jeans available too. There is also a great range of swimwear available, not in the discount room but very reasonably priced at L$50.

52 Weeks of Colour- Shuttle Gray

The Shuttle Grey (English spelling) is an apt colour for me this week. It matches the colour of the sky in England for the last couple of days. If it rains much more, I will need two of each animal and a crash course in ark building.

My dress is from 'Ohmarie'. Hurry over as the store is closing and everything is L$20. It's a cute dress with a little cap sleeve and a short skirt.

My jacket is from R.icielli. All none mesh stuff is still priced at a ridiculously low $L50. The sleeves and collar are resize.

To compliment the rock chick jacket, I wore the mesh thigh boots from HOC.

The hat is the subscriber gift from Nyu. It's a rigged mesh hat with a resize menu.

I finished off with the flower necklace from Izzie's and bangles from YS&YS

Well Suited

In my opinion there is nothing more feminine and sexy than a woman in a well tailored trouser suit.

I picked up the mesh trouser suits at Baby Monkey. I didn't realise Baby Monkey even had mesh items as it's a long time since I was last there.

The suits are L$200 and both the jacket and pants can be worn separately. A jacket alpha, pants alpha and a suit alpha are included, with mesh sizes, XXS to XXL. The suit is available in dark and pastel colours. I am wearing 'Coffee' and 'Pink', demo's are available.

The pink suit is one of the' mesh' group gifts currently available (a dress is the other gift). There is a L$10 group join fee. There are a lot of lucky boards and I noticed there are specific '52 Weeks of Colour' items. I spent a while there just checking out the store.

52 Weeks of Colour-Bright Turquoise

I have been thinking for a while about including specific 'budget' buy items on my blog. Not everyone has or wants to spend a lot of lindens to look fabulous. I have always scoured the more inexpensive stores and tried to incorporate higher priced and budget buys into my outfits and inventory.

With that in mind, this weeks post for 52 Weeks is budget buy friendly.

My dress is from 'Sharodie's Design and costs L$29. If you are looking for an inexpensive formal gown I recommend you check out the store. Some of the dresses are so feminine and pretty and at the prices Sharodie Nightfire has why not pick up a few.

Onto my jewellery. I found the turquoise earrings and necklace on The Marketplace. They both cost L$5 so for a total of (take off her gloves and does the math) L$10 you got yourself a very pretty jewellery set.

My hair is 'Dandy'. Exile's latest bargain pack at The Dressing Room Blue. A 4 colour pack costs L$60

A dress, jewellery and hair for L$99, not too bad at all.

I haven't included a 'budget buy skin this time, but I intend to in future budget posts.

Eastern Exposure

A picture paints a thousand words (so it's said) so I wont ramble on too long. I am going to let the pics do the talking for the latest skin release from Izzie's. The 'Cristina' skin has an Asian look to it which I find very pretty.

Izzie Button always gives us lots of options and pretty things to play with in her skin packs. So what's included? Skins with dark, medium and light brows (cleavage and no cleavage options). Ten tattoo layer eye shadows, ten tattoo layer lip colours. A shape (not worn), tattoo layer eye liner, brow shape and last but not least a nail base (glove layer). Cristina is available in porcelain, pale, sun-kissed, tan, deep tan and mocha. I am wearing deep tan.

If that's not enough goodies, separate make-up layers are available. The additional make-up packs are even more Asian inspired. Check out the 'Large Area' shadows and 'Heart' lipstick add on packs, gorgeous!

Minimal editing as usual on any skin review pics, cropped, brightened and dropped into the frames only.

My earrings are also from Izzie's. The non rigged mesh 'Wooden Bead Set' includes earrings, necklace and a ring, The 'Wooden Bead Set' is available in seven colours.

 A post to show you a couple of new things I got my little grabby hands on, in the last few days.

As promised I am showing you another style of mesh pants from 'Echo'. The 'Intonation V2' pants have an accented colour waistband and pockets (I am all about the details) lol. They are available in seven colours. I wore them with heels but they would also work with flats. Demo's are available.

I am wearing Izzie Button's latest skin release. Cristina has a much more oriental/Asian look to it (more pics and info to follow)

Just walking the dog.

A nice walk with my doggy in the park on a spring afternoon would be great, if I had a doggy, a park, or a spring day lol (raining here).

I recently heard about a new to me store 'Echo'. It's great little store with mesh and non mesh items. I am wearing the 'Intonation' pants in light purple and the 'Key' shirt in pink

The pants are wide legged style with a smart ironed in crease. The shirt has what I would call a 'boat neck' and a three quarter sleeve.

The mesh items come in XS to XL sizes and demo's are available.

There are a couple of different styles of mesh pants available at Echo. I will blog the other style next time.

There is a great range of shirts, sweaters, dresses and pants available, worth a tp over? yeah of course it is.

Jada Humby released some pretty nautical inspired mesh tops and a mesh denim skirt recently at J.H Couture.

The 'Maui' tube top is available in the four colours shown and the 'Noelle' skirt in the mid blue colour.

Both are super casual and would work together or as stand alone separates. Sizing? no problem! sizes xtra xtra small to large are included.

Walking Tall

I hopped over to grab the Maitreya VIP group gift (no join fee). The skirt is mesh design at it's finest. There is nothing bulky or shape distorting about this skirt, it's slim fitting and gives you a bum you would sell your soul for.

I teamed it with another Maitreya classic, the 'Short Trench' jacket. I had forgotten how elegant this jacket is.

My boots have to be the find of the month so far. The 'Thigh Boots' are from HOC. They are colour change via a menu with a jaw dropping 20 colours (26 if you join the HOC group). I am not showing the full 'smexiness' as the thigh length of the boot is hidden under my skirt. The boots cost a teeny weeny L$195, demo's are available.

The 'Bon voyage' hair is one of the styles available from Clawtooth at Collarbor88. I have edited the hair
(removed the bangs) in this pic.

Lastly my over-sized 'Mesh Satchel' is from Shine. Two version are included to be worn either in your hand or over your forearm.

Smoking Hot

Another design from the new 'mesh' kids on the block, Nyu.

The 'Michelle' dress has a retro vibe going on IMO. I can imagine one of the ladies from the TV show Mad Men wearing this. The dress is available in five colours. Four mesh sizes are included in each pack, demo's are available.

My updo is 'Jo' from MissC  it's available at 'Tropicalia Big Bazaar. A pack of 12 colours costs 75L

52 Weeks of Colour-Seashell Peach

Happy Easter, girls and boys :)

I spotted the 'Gardenia Peach' dress on The Marketplace and thought it was as a pretty good colour match to the swatch on Luna's blog.

The 'Blackout' necklace and bracelet are from .: mE. Jewelry Design :. and available at the Tropicalia Big Bazaar. This is a new jewellery store to me and one I shall be checking back with frequently.

The* ELAINE* hair is one of the latest releases from .:EMO-tions:. It's such a cute style with a braid around the top of the head leading to a loose bun. I particularly like the loose tendrils that frame the face. Mirja.Mills can always be relied on to design unique and funky styles.

My shoes are 'COQUETE' from N-Core, classic pumps at their very best.

League have released the 'Jen' skin. As with all of League's skins, it's very beautiful. There are several buying options, single skins, mini fat-packs and full fat-packs. I recommend you go demo to fully appreciate the beauty of this skin. I am wearing the sun-kissed tone.

Nyu

There is a new mesh store in town. Nyu has both male and female mesh clothing in-store.

The female designs are classically elegant, I really like the 'Hi Waist Pants'. The pants are available in six colours and five mesh sizes.

The Nyu range includes, pants, blouses, dresses, jackets and skirts, demo's are available.

The peplum skirt is very cute with a silky/satin looking texture.  It's also available in six colours and five mesh sizes.

Nyu is a store I will be checking back with frequently. It's so nice to see a store opening, when so many seem to be closing lately.

I Spy

There are a couple of 'worth doing' hunts taking place at the moment. I picked up this cute coat and shoes on the 'Perfect Runway Hunt' at CHG Fashion.

The'Limbo-Wet Look' hairbase I am wearing is from Tuty's. I haven't been to Tuty's for a very long time so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of some of the stuff they had there. There are a lot of cheap poses and animations there too. I will definitely be back to check them out.

52 Weeks of Colour-Royal Purple

Choices, choices, choices?? ...erm actually I didn't have too many choices for this weeks colour. After ransacking my inventory and running around the house in my undies, I thought hey! why not just use my undies?

Particularly when they are as cute as the 'Mademoiselle' lingerie from Izzie's. The purple option was perfect for this weeks challenge. Ooh la la!

Short and sweet this week. I have to go tidy my SL bedroom..jeez the mess or should that be the 'mesh' (laughs).
