Grey Glamour

One of MOLiCHiNO's newest releases are the 'Kay' mesh pants. I already have a pair of shorts in a similar design so I hoped the pants would be as nice and as you can see from the pics they totally are.

There is nothing bulky about the mesh, they look very well tailored and fit really well, particularly around the waistband and on the bum. There are a LOT of mesh pants around, most of which give you a really big bum (me no likey that)

I wore my classic white shirt from Connors and teamed it up with the pale pink 'belle bolero' from 'elly'.

The shoes which can just be seen peeking out are the find of the week so far. The Bettie shoes from BLD are mesh and available from 'The Retro Swap Meet'. Go check this fun event out and grab a bargain as nothing is priced above L$10

My classy up-do is 'Tyra' from EMO-tions. I really like this hair, it's formal looking but a teeny bit retro too.

Lastly my jewellery was a MarketPlace find. The 'Long Hope Set' by 'soulsick'

Americana

Unique Megastore  has released in the last couple of months several 'Ethnic' inspired skins. The newest releases are the 'American Man & Woman' skins. We tp'd over to the beach to show them off and to top up our virtual tans.

My loose updo was a colour demo from Yuna's Hair  (not sure on it's current availability)

52 Weeks of Colour-Cobalt

More Marketplace exploration lead me to the dress I am wearing for this weeks challenge.

The dress is from Opium and costs L$199. To be totally accurate it's being sold as a blouse but what the heck.

I am wearing the 'Lora' hair from Emo-tions in dark brown. This is a curly up do with a braided head-band. The matching hair base is included.

My jewellery is from a now closed store 'Mariposa' although I do believe it has re-branded to 'Amorous'. I did check the store and the necklace is now called 'Santa Fe'

A pair of N-Core heels and I was done.

Blueberry Friller

Yes this dress is all over the blog world the last few days. I simply couldn't resist showing it to you anyway.

East meets West

The 'Sari dress' in mesh from Mashooka is a really nice blend of a traditional sari with a western length to the dress.

I added some jewellery from the 'Kanti' range which is also available at Mashooka.

My skin is the latest release from Izzie Button. I am wearing 'Delusional' in mocha. I added the orange shadow and peach lipstick. The skin is available at the 'Skins Addiction Showcase' (25 May to 10 June)

I am also wearing the newest release from Emo-tions, 'Tyra' in dark brown.

My bindi is from Glamorize and I found it on the Marketplace.

Finally my eyes are mesh and from Mayfly, I am wearing the Deep Sky eyes in Rain-shower Shadow.

52 Weeks of Colour-Lemon Chiffon

The first thought in my head when I saw this weeks colour was CAKE! mmmhhhh!!  'Lemon Chiffon Cake', but as I can't really come dressed as a slice of cake I headed out to find something less edible :)

While rampaging around 'The Marketplace' I found the 'Blueberry Store'. This is a relatively new store and one worth checking out.

It was the shape of the 'Seaside' dress that first caught my eye and the yellow option worked perfectly for 'Lemon Chiffon' a barely there yellow. The dress has a very pretty and subtle cream merging into lemon texture. There are three mesh sizes included and demo's are available in store.

The bold yellow shoes are a free gift from G.Fields at The Culture Shock Event.

Accessories are at a minimum, with a simple silver heart choker from Ear Candy and matching earrings (old item). A hair flower from Viomagic completed my accessories

I chose the classy long bob' Pretend' hair from [e] to give the dress a more 'dressed up' feel.

Flipped Out

A cute denim dress is a staple for any girls summer wardrobe. The 'Kira' dress from J.H. Couture fits the bill perfectly. Two colours are available, blue and black. This is a mesh dress but the cute ruffled top seen on the blue dress is a non mesh add on. I think the dress looks great with or without the ruffle. The dress has some great detailing on the back and a nice flippy out shape. Demo's are available

I chose to wear the black without the ruffle and added the 'Francie' blouse from 'Jane' underneath.

High Couture

The Couturiers Dock is another new event in SL. Running from May 15th. All items are exclusive and only 35 of each design will be sold. The Couturiers Dock items will change on a 15 day cycle.

I am wearing Nyu's contribution to the event. The mesh 'Chino Pants' are an off white colour (milk is the actual shade name) five mesh sizes are included. As this is such a limited edition I suggest you take off your heels and run on over if you want a chance of picking them up.

I wanted to wear the latest subscriber gift from Pixel Mode,the 'Fae Wedge Denim' shoes. As far as I am aware past items are non re deliverable, but go smack the subscriber anyway as Tya does send out fabulous shoes every once in a while.

My shirt is the 'Finance' shirt from Sn@tch an old item but one which is so versatile and that I still wear a lot.

My bag was one of the 'Love Mommy' hunt prizes from R.icielli. ($L15)

52 Weeks of Colour-Deep Pink

I had a lucky break last night when I heard that Purple Moon were having a $L59 sale on new mesh releases. I TP'd over and my eyes went directly to the 'Alison' pants, shockingly bright and oh so pink \O/

I decided on basic black to accompany the eye popping pink shade. My shirt is from J.H. Couture and my pumps are from Pixel Mode.

The square neckline of the shirt needed a bold necklace. Donna Flora is having a jewellery sale, so off I went to take a look. I chose the 'Moon' necklace and earrings for $L95. I'm not sure when the sale finishes so run run run.

To finish off my deep pink outfit I slipped on a white slim belt from Izzie's

Darling Dailyn

Dailyn is the newest skin from Izzie's. As with most of Izzie Buttons's skins Dailyn has a soft and young looking face. Make-up enhancements come via tattoo layers which allows total customisation. 

Six tones are available: pale, sunkissed, tan, caramel, deep tan and mocha.

There has been a flurry of activity over at J.H.Couture the last couple of weeks, there has been not one, not two but three new releases.

.

The 'Ruby' summer dress shown above gives the impression of a flippy skirt and tank worn together. There are five other colours available (skirt is the same colour, the tank is different), green, lilac, pink, salmon and white. I am wearing the lilac. Mesh sizes XS to XL are included.

Next up is the more dressy 'Nadine' dress. I particularly like the detailing on the back of this dress, the twisted cross-over is so chic. 'Nadine' is also available in five colours, black, blue, classic grey, green and teal. I chose the classic grey. Mesh sizes XXS to L are included.

Last but by no means least is the 'Demi' pencil skirt. The skirt falls just above the knee and has a slim black belt attached. The skirt is available in twelve colours, azure, berry, black, brown, cream, forest, green, grey, jeans blue, mocca, orange and rusty. I am wearing the cream. Mesh sizes XXS to L are included.

52 Weeks of Colour-Pueblo

Blinks innocently and sneaks her 52 WOC post onto Luna's desk, erm! it's late because...errrrm.... oh yeah, I had a freak eyelash accident and my dog ate my laptop and ermm....I forgot how to type (yeah they are all really believable excuses *sighs with relief)

I had absolutely no luck finding this weeks colour. It was either too dark, too brown, too red or just toooooo wrong. Finally I just got a dress that has several brown-ish shades in it and gave up.

My dress is from Mimi's Boutique, It's pretty nice huh? for L$99. It's mesh (of course) and demo's are available. There are tons of other patterns and the dress is also available in a plain colour version.

My up-do is 'Knotted' from Lelutka. I particularly like the tendrils of hair around the front and the loose styled bun (that would probably take 3 hours to do in RL)

My necklace, earrings and one of the bangles are from Izzie's and the gold bangle is from Maxi Gossamer's

Ashraya Project

From the organization’s website:
“Ashraya”, meaning ‘Shelter’ has brought hope and love into the lives of several hundred children and women, over many years. Founded and registered in 1982, the Bangalore based organisation is dedicated to finding solutions for children within the frame work of their own biological families, or in adoptive homes. Initially, the organisation’s main function was to work with and rehabilitate destitute, poor and abandoned children. It has now extended its services to the family as a whole.”

A new design from Nyu, exclusively available at the Ashraya Project. The mesh dress has a pink/white fade out effect and a pink 'mock' collar which is a nice detail.

The full proceeds of this exclusive item will be donated to the charity.

Busy Izzie

Busy Izzie Button has been working her magic again. I wanted to show just a couple of the latest things.

The over sized mesh sunglasses are colour change via a menu ( 27 colours). They are available in a choice of black or brown lenses.

My shirt is also from Izzie's and will be available at Culture Shock, which opens on May 4th. The ' Tri Color Top' shirt is available in three colour combinations, I am wearing 'Innocence'
