I totally love this hair style from EMO-tions, it shouts of glamour and more elegant days. It frames the face and has loose finger waves, just gorgeous! It would work I think with any retro look from 1930's to 1950's onwards. 'Memory' is only available in black (I would love to see it in a platinum blonde too) and a hair base is included.

I am also wearing the '50's Pearl Necklace' in white from Izzie's. My earrings are from Pixel Mode and were a group gift last year.The bangles are the 'Metal Floral Bangle Stack ' from Sleeping Kola. I couldn't get a LM for Sleeping Koala, the region was offline when I tried.

Mesh In The City

I was thinking today how quickly I have become a mesh convert. More and more I find myself wearing mesh. The outfit above is an example of my mesh madness. Everything apart from the shoes are mesh


My jumpsuit is from 'Ison'. The V cut neckline and slightly shorter pant length makes this great for a more casual look, I think it would also work great with an ankle length boot.


My hair is 'JOLIE_RM' by Lelutka, an alpha layer is included but I didn't need to wear it as the hair fitted perfectly.


Onto my accessories, my necklace and earrings are the 'Ashanti' set which are Maxi Gossamer's hunt item for 'The Accessories Hunt' the hunt runs until June 30 so you still have time to go search them out. My bracelet is also from Maxi Gossamer and is the 'Athena' bangle.


My belt is the 'Malika' belt from J.H. Couture and it works perfectly with the jumpsuit.


Lastly my over sized bag is from 'Shine' and is the mesh satchel in Spring Floral.

52 Weeks of Colour-Rust

After last weeks bathing suit pic, I decided this week to go totally the other way with a more reserved outfit.

My skirt is a good old fashioned prim skirt. It's from Boom and a really great length and shape. The sash is colour change too.

I teamed it with the ever classic 'bow shirt' from Coco. I wear this shirt a lot and as all the prices are still really low at Coco, it's worth picking up as a staple for your SL closets. I wanted to add a little bit more colour over the shirt so I added a bolero by 'Elly'.

Vive9 are having a $L100 hair sale at the moment and as I always liked the 'Poland Highlander' it was too good a bargain to pass up.

Last but not least are my cute little 'non rigged. mesh flats. Izzie Button started making shoes hurrah!.

Available in fifteen colours, these are just adorable little flats and the detailing on them is just stunning.

No matter what you call them, shorts, rompers or play-suits, the one piece short thingy is everywhere in SL


I have seen them in many different textures/colour, I particularly like the textures on the 'Aisha' mesh romper from J.H. Couture. It's a tone on tone subtle animal print. Available in six colours and sizes XS-XL, demo's are available.


I stayed with the chocolate brown theme and wore the 'Desire' boots from Gos and added a little bit of colour with the 'Rainbow' necklace and bangles from Izzie's.

Kick Back

A mega quickie post (I am running sooo late) to show you Nyu's release for the 'Gallery Gift Shop' June collection .

The 'Summer Baby Doll' dress is simple but oh so stylish with it's shallow 'V' neck and flared/over long sleeves. The colours are subtle and the pale pink and white work great together. Not only do you get the pink dress but also a blue one in the same style.The dress is mesh and five sizes are included.

52 Weeks of Colour- Unmellow Yellow

This week I decided to try another swimwear pic. I had remembered seeing L$50 swimsuits and bikini's a few weeks ago at Fri.day. I hopped over and found a perfect 'Unmellow Yellow' colour.

Avoiding the obvious choice of bikini I opted for the 'Asymmetry' swimsuit. It is a very chic looking suit and the cut out side section makes it more St Tropez and less Granny at the beach.

I (like 3/4 of SL female population) fell in love with and purchased the 'Siobhan' hair/hat combo from Maitreya.

I am terribly late posting this cute little skirt, so apologises to Blueberryxx. The 'Vouli' mesh outfit includes the sweet little denim skirt in mesh and a tank/bolero in non mesh.

The skirt looks great with the little top and works equally well with other shirts or tops. Vouli is available in six colours and demo's are available.

Blown Away

It's Saturday again which means new releases at EMO-tions.

The 'Black Widow' is a Gothic spectacular of a dress and as black at the proverbial ravens wing. It's an extravaganza of lace and frills. The dress also includes an under-shirt bra layer and stockings.

My fabulous windswept hair is the 'Noise' hair. I am wearing the flame shade, it is also available in seven other shades, a matching  hair base is also included.

Fashion Crack

Izzie Button has released a few new items in the last couple of days for the Zombie Popcorn Carnival (June 15-June 30) and Perfect Wardrobe (Until June 23) events

Available at 'Zombie Popcorn' are the 'Loose Crochet Top and 'Aztec Print Leggings' The crochet top is a great shape falling just above the waist and showing just a teeny bit of tummy. It's available in twelve colours. The leggings are also available in twelve coordinating colours and work perfectly with the top for a fun and casual look.

Available at 'Perfect Wardrobe' are the 'Cracked' nails. This is a trend that is sweeping across RL too. The nails have a 'crackle' effect over the colour. Nails to fit  hand size 10,15 and 20 are included. The nails are texture change via a menu.

52 Weeks of Colour-Raspberry Glace

I stumbled across a new to me store this week. Geometry has a few items in their in-world store and a more extensive range on The Marketplace. I have already set my sights on quite a few of the items.

I chose the 'Madhuri' dress for several reasons, obviously it's the right colour for this weeks challenge but also a really great texture and design.  All in all I <3 this dress.

My hair is another of EMO-tions newest releases. The 'TIZIA' is formal meets 'Starwars' meets awesome. The hair base has a middle part and the hair it's self has face framing tendrils and a very unique up do effect.

The texture of the dress is very ethnic looking so I threw on my cheapie earrings and necklace from berry.berry as they always remind me of beautiful Indian jewellery.

Another week in the bag. The weeks are really flying by.

Estella!

Another new skin release from Izzie Button. As with all of Izzie's skins the 'Estella' skin is cute and very versatile. So! what's included?  a nude faced skin in blonde, light and dark brows (the darker toned skins don't include the lighter brow options) with cleavage or non cleavage options, then a dizzying amount of make-up on the tattoo layer consisting of, twelve eye-shadows and twelve lipsticks . I am showing you just a few of the options available.

Not content with a rainbow of make-up options, Izzie also includes freckles (face or face and body) a shape and a coordinating skin tone glove layer for all the prim nail wearers. Estella is available in nine tones I am wearing the caramel tone and the Estella shape. Four new shades made their debut with this skin release, porcelain, natural, cocoa and ebony.

Izzie's VIP members can also pick up 'Estella' in caramel in two exclusive summer make ups. There is a joining fee of $L250 and Izzie is always very generous, so worth the Lindens for sure.

These pics have been brightened a bit but no major editing has been done apart from that.

Princess Complex

When I was a little girl I always dreamt of castles and princesses and I wonder if maybe Mirja Mills
from EMO-tions did too, as her newest releases are oh so princessy.

The 'Butterfly Effect' dress is a really pretty pale pink and IMO would work as an alternative to a traditional wedding gown. There is an accompanying shoulder attachment which I didn't wear.

The 'Greece' hair is a mass of loose curls and ringlets with tiny little colour change flowers around the front Two different versions are included, one being longer in the back that the other. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

I feel very princess like in this dress and hair.....oh well even grown up girls can dream too.

Splish Splash

The Brazilian man and woman skins are part of the 'Ethnic Range' available at Unique Megastore.

The fat pack includes twelve makeup options in hair base/cleavage options, a freckle tattoo layer, lip gloss layer and a shape (not worn). Two of the make-up options come with cute little teeth.  This is a pretty yet grown-up looking skin.

I am not wearing much but here is the info anyway.  The bikini was part of the 'Lola' skin pack from R.icielli on The Marketplace, my hair is 'KNOTTED' from Lelutka and I am wearing the mesh feet from Slink.

Sensible Shoes

Nyu have released a new range of shoes and accessories. I am showing you the 'Tux Loafers' in cream. The shoes are available in both men's and women's sizing. I am also wearing the 'Nicole' glasses.

On the dock of the bay

Another round of FaMESHed has begun and  Nyu 's contribution this time around is the mesh 'Satin Skirt'

The skirt falls a couple of inches above the knee and has a slim fit. The accompanying butterfly belt is a great finishing detail. The skirt is available in six colours, I am wearing topaz. Five mesh sizes are included.

To show off the cute belt I am wearing the mesh 'Linney' halter top from MOLICHINO. The shirt is sexy without being trampy and works great with pants, skirts and shorts too.

My hair is 'holiday from EMO-tions. It's available at 'Fashion Limited' and limited to a release of 50. The glasses are part of the hair and colour change. There is a cute little braid at the front and it comes with two tattoo layer hair bases, one of which gives you a slight sunburn too lol (cute cute).

Lastly I am wearing the 'Ilena Sandals' in black, these feet and sandals are beyond awesome. I look forward to more shoes and sandals that can be worn with the pretty mesh feet from SLink.

52 Weeks of Colour-Pistachio

I don't think I have done a 'costume' pic in this round of 52WOC.  Kouse's Sanctum were having at L$75 retirement sale on some of their dresses so this week was the perfect opportunity. The dress includes the beautiful wings too. The sale is over now but do yourself a favour and check out the stunning gowns available at the store.

The fabulous ' Daphne' hair with it's abundance of curls is new and from EMO-tions. Mirja Mills always delivers stunning and unique styles in SL.
