52 Weeks of Colour-Wales

Helo a chroeso i her yr wythnos hon lliw, 'Cymru' ( Hello and welcome to this week's colour challenge, 'Wales')

It was a no brainer, I had to pick up the 'Regatta' dress from Miel. I chose the solid brights option. It's not exactly the same shade of green as Luna's swatch, but close enough.

The dress is available for L$50 but only until Sunday. The dress & belt are colour change, six colour options for the dress and twelve for the belt. XXS to L mesh sizes are included.

My fabulous long straight hair is 'Studio' a new release from [e]. I am wearing brown 04 which is part of the essentials colour pack.

My shoes are the latest group gift from N-Core, Coquette-Wild.

Go figure

Dresses in SL usually come in two or three varieties, short and clubby ,long and formal. or cutesy and young. It can be difficult to find dresses that don't fall heavily into any of those categories. In my opinion 'Geometry have some really great looking dresses and separates available.

The newest release from Geometry Clothing is the 'Odile' dress. The dress is mesh and available in twelve colour choices. I am just showing a few here.

Odile has a halter neck and a drop waist effect giving the dress a lovely shape, the hem has a slight dipped effect to it (the back being slightly longer than the front). The skirts are all a silvery charcoal grey colour, the top part of the dress is where the colour choices differ.

It is difficult to get across how good the texture is on this dress, but as demo's are available you can go check it out for yourselves. Mesh sizes XXS to L are included. The dress is available in store and also on The Markeplace.

Top to bottom I am wearing Odile in black, wine and ivory.

I am also wearing the NYU  'Debut, Chic Fedora ' in black and the red 'Suede Leather Bag' also from NYU. My ponytail is 'Cachet' from Lelutka and my shoes are' COQUETE Platform' from N-Core.

52 Weeks of Colour-Aqua Island

I just love my oriental inspired outfit this week. The 'Sleeveless Ao Dai' is from BareRose, five colours are included, the pale blue I am wearing and white, pink, yellow and green/yellow. It is unbelievably inexpensive at just L$180.  A lacey undershirt, shoes and a hair flower are also included.


I couldn't find a demo but I risked it anyway. Only one mesh size is included, it's quite big but I think it worked ok on my shape and I am usually small/medium in standard mesh sizing.

My hair is 'Sparrow' from [e] available at The Hair Fair. I usually get the 'Essentials Collection' when buying hair from [e] as you get a couple of shades of blonde, brunette, red and a black and a white shade. I wish other hair creators did this. So Thank you Elika Tiramisu :)


My jewellery is the' Pearls & Lace' bracelet and earrings set from League.

I am wearing (as usual) the 'Jen' skin from League, it is still my favourite BUT I hear a new skin is coming from League (insert happy dance)

It's NEW hair day at EMO-tions.  Mirja has two new styles today.

'DEIDRE' is an off centre large bun/roll sweeping low over the forehead. It is worn with a hair base (included).

KATHRIN was released in a 'black and blonde' pack for 'Fashion Limited' it is now available in all eight shades. 'KATHRIN'  is a more casual style. The hair has a tousled look and the attached black beanie hat gives the hair a funky feel. A hair base is included.


Both styles are available in single colour or a fat pack, eight colours are included in the fat pack and free demo's are available in-store.

Chillaxing

I have had a hectic couple of RL days, I would love to be able to chill out like this for real.

I am wearing another of the 'Seraphim Birthday Hunt' items, this time from Sakide. You get the colour shown and also a black version and all for $L10. The pants are mesh and come in XXS to L mesh sizes.

To enhance my chillaxing SL environment I have the fu-rin (Fu-rin is a Japanese wind bell)  from Sway's. They are available in five versions and when clicked they do play a sweet little sound, both sound and rotation can be toggled on/off, I am showing Music and Daisy.  Pluto+ at SwayLand are hosting a Fu-rin event at the moment, it's worth a TP over to check it out.

My lovely tree seat is a past Collarbor88 bargain. It's the 'Tree Seat' from Lisp

My footwear is the 'Natural Barefoot' mesh feet and Illena sandals in black from Slink.

Sing...sing a song

A mix of things today. First a couple of things from 'One Voice' and also the 'Eliza' skin in ebony which is Izzie Button's prize for the 'Seraphim, Turns One' birthday hunt.

There are some great things available at 'One Voice' I couldn't resist the mesh ' Silk Dupioni Beachcombers' pants from The Sea Hole, Sizes XS to L are included and also two different sized alpha's. While I was looking around I noticed and bought the ' ELOISE "One Voice Edition' wedges from N-Core.

'One Voice' is not exclusively clothes/hair/skins etc, there is also furniture and home decor stuff available. The cute little pink lawn/beach chair is by 'Sways'

The chair has 10 poses and 1 play guitar animation (with self rezzing playable guitar) a guitar prop is also included. The chair is available in pink and red.

The 'Eliza' ebony skin is stunning. I am not black or wear black skins in SL, but I have heard about the lack of good looking darker skins, I think Izzie created this beautifully, It's very dark and has a lovely tone. You get two skins, with and without cleavage. Check out the Seraphim Birthday Hunt, all hunt items are $L10 and there are some great stores participating.

52 Weeks of Colour-Persian Rose

Virtual Asia (me) visited Virtual Asia (place) this morning to take my late pic for this weeks colour.

After much searching of stores/marketplace/inventory I finally decided on the 'Cocoro' shorts from Toki Doki. Available in a range of colours, they are an excellent fit (I am wearing mesh size small) and are some of the best mesh shorts around at the moment in my opinion.

Not wanting to cover myself in head to toe bright pink I toned the whole look down with the 'Bow' shirt in black from Coco.

I am wearing the ' Roza 01' skin from Glam Affair skin which is available at the 'Dressing Room'. Not my usual skin creator of choice as they rarely work out on Asia's shape, but this one looks kind of Okay ( I think). I did add tattoo layer toothies from Izzie's :)

Another TP to this round of Collarbor88 and 'Tomoko2' from D!va was my final purchase for this weeks challenge.

Bra(i)dy Bunch

As promised, here is the info about EMO-tions Hair Fair 2012 freebie. 'Milly' is available in just one colour, brown. It has two long braids, tied high with a dark red ribbon, falling long and loose to mid back length. It has a centre part and needs to be worn with a hair base.

Mixed Emotions

Hair Fair  2012 is almost upon us (July 14-July 29). Mirja Mills has created five new styles that will premier at the HF. There will also be a free gift from EMO-tions. Over the next couple of days I will show you all five of the new releases (and the free gift).


Okay onto the exciting news, Mirja has included a 'style changer' animation in the releases for the HF, not only do you get the animation but the hair does actually change style. In the picture above I am wearing 'Karen' in brown, click the hair and you get the option to change the style from clipped back to a bangs falling over the face style. This is very very cool and even cooler it means you get two styles for ONE PRICE.


I am not giving the landmark to the HF as you will wont be able to use it yet anyway :)

'Gala' Performance

Unless you are living in a very deep hole you probably know that the 'One Voice' event is happening. The event is to raise money for the creator of 'Curio' skins. I am not going to go into all the whys and wherefores of it, far better explanations and information about the event and the actions leading up to it are available online here. What I will say is I have in the past blogged skins from 'Hush' I no longer do that and I have removed all posts promoting any 'Hush' skins from this blog.

Izzie Button contribution to the event is the 'Gala' skin, 50% of all sales will be donated to the 'One Voice' fund The 'Gala' skin is available in three tones (pale, sunkissed and caramel), each tone comes with, eyebrow options, cleavage/no cleavage, five lipstick tattoo's, five eye-shadow tattoo's, freckle tattoo layer and a shape (not worn). It is available at the 'One Voice' event and also at Izzie's main store.

Date Night

Being a pretty pixel takes effort and a lot of preparation time. So it was nice to be able to chillax and have a little 'me' time.

My pretty lingerie is 'Leanna' in nude available for a dollerbie price at Seldom Blue. Bra, panties, stockings and a waist cincher (not worn) are included.

My hair is 'Telephone' from Ploom, not a new style but just perfect for my pampering session.

My face mask is from Ruca Tease Fashions it's a tattoo layer and soooo funny.

Ear we go!

I love jewellery and accessories, particularly earrings. I am seldom without earrings in real or Second Life, they add a finishing touch and can be a subtle accent or a bold statement.

Just Checking

A couple of new releases from Nyu today. A cute dress exclusively available for Maniera's 
'Tribute to Vivienne Westwood' event and a knock your socks off dress exclusively for 'Relay for Life 2012'

The 'Tartan' dress is high necked, sleeveless with an A line shaped skirt. I can imagine this worn with boots and tights for a retro feel or as I have done, teamed with flats for a more cute look. Available in two colour choices, blue/red (worn) or blue. Five mesh sizes are included and demo's are available.

Nyu went to the other end of the style spectrum with the exclusive 'Relay for Life 2012' dress.This is definitely a dress with the wow! factor.Available in the 'Nude' colour I am wearing and also'Floral'.

52 Weeks of Colour-Astronaut Blue

This weeks colour really goes with my current mood, blue and a bit spaced out :)

I struggled to find something this week and finally ended up raiding a little bargain/inexpensive shop on the Marketplace. The cat suit is cut really low across the front so either let it all hang out, slip a cami or something under it or use photoshop to spare your blushes :-D. The Cathy cat-suit is mesh and colour change via a hud (16 colours), it also comes with a belt which has 'sexy' on it. Six mesh sizes are included and a demo is available.

My hair is from ^;^CaTwA^;^  and it is my current favourite, I haven't taken it off for days.

Now onto the shoes..ohhhh the shoes, the shoes. They are 'Linda' from Redgrave. Individual parts of the shoe are colour change which means endless colour options, demo demo and demo.

I am feeling a bit 'blah' about the whole blogging thing at the moment but hopefully it will pass.

Ruthed!

It can be difficult to find unusual hair in SL. There are lots of lovely (but very similar) hair do's available, but for something different EMO-tions is my 'Go To' store.

This week Mirja Mills released 'Ruth' and I have to say it's just stunning. Available in eight colours, I am wearing 'Flame. The hair has a braided effect at each side and a centre part, a hair base is also included and demo's are available.

My dress is another new release from EMO-tions. 'Sharon' is everything a dress should be, it's feminine, floaty and sexy. With a very sheer top and wispy skirt allowing a glimpse of the satin effect shorts worn underneath.

Eliza

Super quick post to let you know about a couple of things.

Firstly more skin goodness from Izzie Button, please meet 'Eliza'. As with all of Izzie's skins you get 2 (cleavage and non cleavage) versions of nude' faced skins in light, dark, blonde and in this release red brows, then a selection of eleven shadows and twelve lipsticks to play with via the tattoo layer. Also included are mod/copy brow shape, face freckles and face/body freckles (tattoo layer), a  mod/copy shape (not worn), tattoo layer lashes and Izzie even provides a skin coordinating glove layer to wear with prim nails. Eliza is available in seven shades.

Multiple Emotions

If you are looking for some long curly luscious locks head on over to EMO-tions. 'Shakira' is the latest group gift. The top of the hair is a darker shade blending down to a mid brown. It's the kind of hair you always envy in RL but secretly know it would be a nightmare to look after or style. This is a group exclusive and will not be for sale in the store.

Any of you SL 'brides to be' here? The 'Jaosi' hair would looks fabulous on your special day. It's pulled away from the face with tiny colour change rose-buds around the front and falling into loose curls, hair base is included. It's such a feminine and soft style. Mirja designed this hair for Jaosi Odriscoll who was a ♛MMV Candidate in 2012.

Finally the 'SHENA'. A high pony tail with a beautiful silver effect clip and plait detail at the front, a hair base is included. This is very warrior princess looking IMO or maybe Sci Fi. This hair was originally designed for Shena Neox,  M I S S   V ♛ S P A I N   2 0 1 2.

52 Weeks of Colour-Cadmium Red

Red for danger? in this dress definately. This is a sexy sexy dress and just between us girls (or boys) there is a bit of a nipple wardrobe 'malfunction' going on *winks. Thank goodness for my over the shoulder blonde waves.

I added some jewellery and a pair of killer red heels and I was done with Cadmium Red.
