Autumn is just around the corner and SL fashion is beginning to reflect that.

Bilo has the 'Embroidered Skirt' as their 'Harvest Hunt' (begins September 1st) prize. The skirt is a slim shape with a darker toned waistband. The embroidered flowers are a nice accent on the plain texture of the skirt. Five mesh sizes are included.

I am also wearing 'Ria' from Kik. Two versions of the short bob are included. I am wearing dark brown 02.

My 'Metallic Gradient Nails'  nails are new and by one of the busiest creators in SL, Izzie Button. Included are nails in hand sizes, 5, 10, 15 and 20. They are colour change via a hud with 40 colour options. Nail base glove layers are also included in 13 skin tones.

My comfy cardigan is from TokiDoki and is the 'Summer Nights' cardigan in beige.

My shoes were a hunt prize in the Womenstuff Hunt back in February. They are Coquette from N-core

52 Weeks of Colour-Feldgrau

'OH EM GEE' what a colour!! I had absolutely no luck locating anything. I finally chose the Military Jacket from Kauna and RGB'd the colour in. big fail this week.

A quick look in my 'HOC' folder and I had boots and glasses.

Last up the pants are from Coco.

Rina

Mirja Mills has released a couple of new mesh braids. A super long braid and an over the shoulder braid with a hat. I am showing you the long braid in this post.

'RINA ' is available in the usual eight EMO-tions shades. A hair base is included and demo's are available.

There is also a new group gift available. 'COLIEN', is a curly mid length style and unrigged mesh.

The long and the short of it.

I am guilty of wearing pants a lot in SL (RL too). This is kind of silly as there are so many styles of dresses available in SL. So here is a quickie post to show two completely different styles of dress.

A newish release from Bilo is the ' Fatimah Abaya' dress. An abaya is a loose over garment traditionally worn by some women in the Islamic culture. The dress is mesh and available in sizes XXS-L.

I wore it with the 'Melanie' hair/hood from Fri.day to compliment the Eastern look.


At the oppostie end of the scale is the 'Julietta' dress by Jada Humby at J.H Couture.

Julietta is a shirt dress with an asymmetrical hemline. It is available in the three colours shown above, mesh sizes XS to XL are included.

The Table Fable

No pics of Asia posing around this time, instead I will show you some of the new releases from Sway Dench.

The 'Brenda' table and chair sets are available in five colours (yellow, red, green, pink and blue) and also a mega set including all the colours. Each set includes a chair, table with cloth, stool, upside down stool, cup of coffee and a piece of cake on a plate.

The chair has thirteen animations and four poses (including props that are either rezzed or given to attach) The stool has five animations and five poses.

Available separately but in matching colours are the 'Teacup Lamps' Each colour pack includes the lamp in three rope style options.

Also available separately is the 'Teacup Chandelier'

Sway Dench always makes such novel items, the teacup light is very whimsical and her attention to detail is astounding (check the little heart in the coffee cup)

Stop staring and belt up

I don't suggest you wear the cool 'Ruffle's belt from Tee*fy as a shirt (or maybe you want to). I was trying to be artistic kind of.

The belts are available at L'accessoires and available in 10 colours. The belts are copy/mod. ( I could only squeeze nine on)

I am still going through all the goodies that are available at L'accessoires.

The 'Harry Readers' from [UMEBOSHI] are available in three colour packs, metal lights, metal darks and metal neutrals. I am showing just a few of the colours above. I feel all Harry Potteresque now.

52 Weeks of Colour- Russett

Yet another late 52 Weeks of Colour. I will be getting a tardy slip at this rate.

I was a little bit confused about this weeks colour. The swatch is not what I think of as 'Russett. I used three different shades of brown and hopefully one will fall into the russett colour bracket :)

A really simple outfit this week made up of a couple of newish things and an old pair of shorts.

I picked up the shirt from the 'Acid Lily Gallery' event. The 'Dotty' shirt is mesh and pretty cute, mesh sizes XS-XL are included and a demo is available.

I teamed the shirt with a really old pair of shorts from Deviance. The texture on these shorts is still amazing. I also have the leather pants from Deviance and they rock.

My hair is 'Sione' from Amacci. Each colour pack includes a streaked (click menu) and non streaked version, a hair base is also included.

I am wearing another make-up included in Belleza's 'Betty'. This is such a pretty skin.

Spaced Out

Asia meets Gaga, meets space queen ?? I am not totally sure which. Whichever it is I have the accessories to work it, most of which are available at L'accessoires.

My hat is the 'Florentine Hat' by Bliss Couture. Available in red, white, noir and coffee, this is a very striking and bold piece of millinery.

My bra/chest plate/jewellery is 'Venusia' by SoliDea Folie. It could also be worn with out clothes, I spared mine and your blushes and wore it over the 'Satin Jumpsuit' by Nyu (available at The Vintage Fair)

The bangles worn are the 'Plated Cuff' by GOTZSCHE, they are  available in five colours.


Last up my boots. I picked these up from the MP, they the 'Mesh Leather' boots by Opium. They are colour change via click menu. I chose the Brown/Red/Sand option, they are also available in Black/Blue/Olive and Magenta/Pastels, included are rigged and an unrigged version of the boots.

Attic Treasure

A new round of 'My Attic' starts on August 21. Mirja Mills will have her first partial mesh hair 'Tracey' available in two special 'four' colour packs. Colour pack one includes brown, blonde, dark brown and natural and colour pack two includes black, dark red, flame and snow. I am showing part of colour pack two, dark red, black and snow, a hairbase is included. Each pack cost L$95.

New in store is 'Maren XL'. Mirja created this hair in response to comments about the original 'Maren' long flexi hair not fitting bigger guys. It's a whole lot of hair but someone did comment to me that it would work great on a mermaid avi. Maren XL is available in the usual EMO-tions colours and demo's are available.

Fashion by numbers

Hello! I want to show you  a couple of items available from 22769.

First up is the 'Floating Sunrise' skirt and the 'Zoe' blouse, which are available at this round of 'The Gallery Gift Shop' The skirt has such an unusual shape and in my opinion an oriental/ethnic look. There is also an outfit available for you fellas. The dress and shirt are mesh and five standard mesh sizes are included.

Paco and Manu are always very generous and participate in a lot of hunts. The 'Slim Cut Leather Pants' are their hunt prize ($L5) for the 'Swimming Pool Blue' hunt (Duration: August 15th - August 31st). The pants are rigged mesh, five standard mesh sizes are included. The pants are also a new release at the main store in a range of other colours.

Last up is August's group gift from 22769, the 'Orange Beach Shorts'. The shorts are available in the group gift vendor at the store, activate your group tag and clicky clicky, older group gifts are also available.

My two blonde hair do's (Tyra and Lora) are from EMO-tions. There is a sale this week on blonde hair, the sale is only available at the main store where blonde hair is reduced to $L95.

Fashion Sprint

On your marks, get set, GO! This is going to be a sprint though some of the awesome things I have bought or received over the last couple of days.

Let's start at the top with my hair. 'Sunshine' is from EMO-tions and comprises of a hair base and matching up do with a chunky fringe. The hair band is colour change via a click menu. Two options of band are included, studded and plain. 'Sunshine' is available in eight colours and demo's are available.

My glasses are by Tableau Vivant and available at L'accessoires. The 'Colourful Glasses' are colour changeable via a touch menu (lens, frame and temple) having six colour options for the lens and frame and four options for the temple. The glasses are resizable via click menu too.

Onto my dress. 'Jade' is from J.H Couture. The mesh dress is available in nine colours with five mesh sizes included.. It has a retro feel with the short skirt and peplum effect

The devil's in the detail

L'accessoires is now open. This is a new event focusing on accessories, you wont find any clothing here just fabulous things to add the finishing touches to your styling and outfits.

There are some big name creators participating in the event. Glam Affair has the 'Lisanna' hat available. This is a high fashion/couture looking hat and is available in six colours. The front of the hat is cloche shaped with the back brim sweeping down to below the shoulders.

My necklace is from [HANDverk] isn't it gorgeous? consisting of multiple strands of pearls running to a centre disk that has an abstract star burst design . The 'Pearl Necklace' is also available in six colour options. Included in each colour are gold, rose gold and silver versions of the necklace (chest and spine attachment points)

Lastly my shoes are from lassitude & ennui. The shoe comes in two version, rigged and static mesh, enabling you to choose the one that will work best for you, demo's are available. 'Blossom is a really pretty wedge shoe with a plain upper and ankle tie,the wedge has a subtle flower print.

The hud offers two ways to match your skin tone, it can be matched using one of the pre-set textures or by entering the RGB. The nail colour is also changeable via the hud.

52 Weeks of Colour-Tyrian Purple

I chose a bargain dress for this weeks colour challenge item. The 'Tulip' dress cost just L$60 and is available on The Marketplace. The dress is rigged mesh and available in ten colours, five mesh sizes are included and a demo is available.

I am wearing some of my favourite shoes, not new, but still gorgeous. They are the 'Oshun' shoes from Pixel Fashion.

My hair is one of the new releases from EMO-tions. Rebeca is another of the click menu, two in one styles. Style A is a curly pony tail and style B is the curly chignon worn in the main pic. A hairbase is included and demo's are available at EMO-tions.

L'accessoires

 L'accessoires, a NEW event opens August 15 at Midnight SLT  (continuing with new items monthly). It will showcase accessories from some of the best known creators in SL.

I wanted to show you a couple of the amazing things that will be available. I have a few more pretties to show you in a later post :)

First up from La Penderie de Nicole is the 'Flower On My Head' hat. The hat is available in three shades, blue, pale and rose. I totally love this hat it's so very glamorous and also quirky and fun.

My jewellery is by Purple Moon. The 'Venice' necklace and earring set is amazing, having a total of sixteen gem choices and seven metal options via a touch menu. Brightness and glow are also customisable. This jewellery set has a dizzying range of options and is gorgeous. I am showing just a few of the options available.

Izzilicious!

Say hello to 'Elena' she is the newest girl from Miss Izzie Button. This is a very soft looking skin and has a youthful and innocent quality. Izzie has such pretty skins always.

Elena is available in seven skin tones ranging from a very pale porcelain to a deep mocha. Eight 'base' skins are included with four brow colours (light, dark, blonde, red) in cleavage and non cleavage options (The mocha skin tone includes one eyebrow colour option, dark).

On to the tattoo layer make-up, included are, twelve lipsticks, nine eye shadows, one eye-liner, one blush and two freckle layers (face and face/body). Izzie also included a modifiable/copy shape (not worn), eyebrow shape and a glove layer nail base.

52 Weeks of Colour- Jonquil

Runs in, throws this weeks post on the table and runs outs again (I am late AGAIN)

A yellow shade, hmmm not my favourite colour but Okay here we go with a mix of old and new items.

I picked up my great looking jacket from Collarbor88, it's from Fri. it's mesh and I love it. The jacket is available in five colours and four mesh sizes are included.

My splash of yellow is from the 'Metallic Leggings from Izzie's, they are available at The Vintage Fair.

I pulled out a really old shirt from Armidi to coordinate with my yellow leggings.

My grey boots are also an older item, they are the 'Round' boots from J's

Ethnic Appeal

I had not heard of 'Bilo' until quite recently. Bilo means a beautiful girl/woman in Punjabi (a language of Northern India and Pakistan) Bilo have a nice range of 'eclectic designs with an ethnic appeal'. I am showing you a couple of their new releases

Available at FaMESHed are the 'Harnoor' sleeveless tank and the 'Nimrit Capri's'. They are available in six colours and five mesh sizes are included (XXS-L)

Bilo is also participating in 'The Vintage Fair, available there is the 'Betty' blouse and 'Donna' skirt. They are both available in five colours and five mesh sizes are included.

Dark Vista

A couple of pics to show another fabulous dress from Geometry. The 'Rorschach' dress is available at FaMESHed.

Available in twelve colours, the dress has a asymmetrical hemline which falls above the knees. The square neckline and wide shoulder straps gives the dress a classy yet sexy look. Five mesh sizes are included and a demo is available.

I am also wearing the newest skin from Belleza 'Betty' (available at The Vintage Fair)

My punky quiff is 'Sione' one of the new releases from Amacci and my shoe are the ' ELOISE' wedges from N-Core.

The 'Burbs

I got a little bit carried away taking pics of the new dresses from Geometry. Both of the dresses are available at The Vintage Fair. When I tried them on I immediately thought of a 1950s suburban house wife.

The dress worn above is 'Promenade'. It's strapless with a knee length pleat effect skirt and available in twelve colours. The top part is plain colour and the skirt has polka dots. There are a couple of floral decoration attachments (one for the belt and one for the front of the dress)

The 'Promise' dress shown below is very similar in style the main difference being this has a plain coloured skirt. Two bow attachments are included (one for the back of the belt and one for the front of the dress). There are also twelve colours available. Both dresses have five mesh sizes and a demo is available.

My suburban hubbie is dressed ready for his 1950s office job while I of course am a glam housewife, always pretty and always wearing  pearls (yeah right). Mr Suburbia's suit is available at FaMESHed and from Kauna, more info can be found on Sam's blog.

Yet more pretties from The Vintage Fair. The 'Satin Jumpsuit' from Nyu is available in black and nude, it is simple and very elegant. The pants have a 7/8 length that work great with boots. A matching belt is part of the jumpsuit. Five mesh sizes are included.

A Colourful Vintage

The Vintage Fair starts TODAY . This is a huge event covering 3 sims it will  have 250+ creators showcasing their new and exclusive items.

Izzie Button will have several new releases available at The Vintage Fair.

Firstly an exclusive 80s version of the 'Eliza' skin. Three make-up are included in cleavage and no cleavage options.

The mesh '80s Sunglasses' I am wearing will also be available at Izzie's Vintage Fair store. Available in black and brown lenses with colour change frames (25 colours)

Next up are the 'Metallic Leggings' available in twelve colours. A great staple for any SL wardrobe. I am showing them worn 80s style but they would easily work with more up to date outfits and styling.

Also available are the '80s Round Nails' I love all the nails from Izzie's and these are no exception They are colour change (25 colours) and also include a glove layer (13 tones and tintable) to improve the appearance of your hands when wearing prim nails. Hand size 10, 15 and 20 are included.

Lastly Izzie will have a couple of gifts available at The Vintage Fair. The 'Rainbow' bangles shown and also a colour change hair band.

Sitting Pretty

The Fashion Feeds and Plurk are buzzing with information and pics from The Vintage Fair, it opens tomorrow (August 4 ) and there looks to be a ton of fabulous stuff available there.

Geometry's Vintage Fair design is the 'Daisy' mesh dress.. It is a long hippy/boho style and available in ten colours. I am showing you just a few of the colours available. Five mesh sizes are included.

Sway Dench's item for the Vintage Fair is the [Sixty] living room furniture set. The partial mesh furniture is available as a full set or in separate pieces. Available in five colour options and black and white. It's a great looking set of furniture. The full set includes his and her chairs, lamps, wall art and a table.

My hippy chick hair in the first and second picture is from EMO-tions, the'White Feather' hair is available in a duo pack (black and white) The hair is a limited edition and only available at 'FASHION LIMITED'.
The braid part is a separate attachment. In the first pic I am wearing the hair and the braid attachment, in the second pic I wearing my Hair Fair 2012 bandanna and just the braid attachment.

Cotton Picking

Another month has rolled around and that means another round of FaMESHed has hit the grid. I have already picked up a couple of things and have my eye on a couple more :)

Nyu has the 'Cotton' mesh dress available this time around. Although not part of the Vintage Fair event this dress has a definite 1960s/vintage feel about it. The dress is available in ten colours, I am just showing a couple of my favourites. Five mesh sizes are included and a demo is available.

Wasabi Pills has yet another gorgeous mesh do for us to try. 'Sylvie' is a loose ponytail style with cute bangs, the crown of the hair has a little bit of height which I like. I am wearing 'pancake and 'black coffee' which are part of the 'browns' colour pack, a demo is available.

Hot Cocoa

The options on Izzie's lovely 'Eliza' skin keep on coming. Eliza is now available in the darker shades of cocoa, ebony and dark. I am wearing cocoa.

As with most of Izzie Button's skin you get a lot of bang for your buck. Each tone pack includes: a clean skin in cleavage or no cleavage, face and face/body freckles, 12 lipsticks,11 eye shadows, eye lashes (all on a tattoo layer) A mod/copy shape (not worn) mod/copy eye brow shape and a nail base glove layer to wear with all the pretty nails Izzie also has for sale in her store.

My eyes are a new release from Mayfly. I am wearing the Liquid Light Eyes (Rising Spring, w3) aren't they pretty?
