52 Weeks of Colour-Bronze!

Not wanting to break with my tried and tested pattern. I am LATE with this weeks colour.

I found a dress on The Marketplace that fitted to this weeks colour challenge. The package contains the dress with matching pumps and a shape (shape not worn) and cost 99L$. BUT it was mesh!

I am not currently using a mesh enabled viewer so had to step over to the dark side for a while (Viewer 3) to try the dress.

What can I say about my experience in using the official viewer? probably nothing that would be allowed on a 'no adult' content blog. It suckedddd. I could not get my eyes focused, rezzing took for ev-eeeeeeeeeeer and it just felt laggy and horrible.

Anyway after a lay down in a darkened room with an ice pack on my mouse finger & brain. Here is 'Bronze'


I was curious about the whole Mesh thing and TBH I wasn't blown away by it. That could be purely to do with the trauma (yes I said trauma) of using viewer3

What I wasn't crazy about:
  1. Asia has the figure of a malnourished stick insect but this dress was too small. I had to tinker with Asia's shape (think teeny hips, teeny body fat numbers)
  2. It made Asia look a bit blocky/chubby.
What I did like:
  1. No sticking out limbs when taking pics
The dress itself is as sexy as hell! I will be trying other mesh items but I will wait until Firestorm is mesh friendly.

I will mention one more thing, While taking these pics I noticed I wasn't wearing my right hand prim nails. I re-wore them and my dress unattached (?!?)  LOL, luckily I was at home in my studio. Bare breasted with fab looking nails in public is not a look I will be trying anytime soon.

    Hi there! great post, and in case someone hasn't already gotten to you, Firestorm does have a beta mesh viewer currently. It's still got some glitches that are being worked but it's about 1000x better than the 3Viewer 3.0 laggy mess. You can currently snag it on the phoenix/firestorm wiki page! Good luck and hopefully mesh works out better for you in the future!!

    That is one hell of a sexy dress, whoo hoo. I am also waiting on firestorm mesh. Not looking forward to figuring out sizing though. It's hard enough fitting prims for me!

    Well look at you, don't you look hot in that dress... I have the same kinda feelings about Mesh. Rudh is a no mod shape that I have worn for 5 years and so modding my shape is NOT an option... But oh well who knows!
