This is probably my last post for 2012. I wont ramble on too much about that, but would like to thank the people who read my blog this year :)

Snow Woe

A rainy Christmas is forecast for the UK, so no White Christmas for me. I will instead play in the pretty snow of SL. But it seems that even in SL snow can cause a few car problems.

Go-lightly or Go Home

I am a lover of classic movies. One of my all time favourites has to Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn personifies style and class as her character Holly Golightly.

I was instantly reminded of Holly when I saw EMO-tions 'Resolution' hair. The hair is available at the
'My Attic' event.

Winter Warmer

A new release from Geometry happens too infrequently but is always worth the wait. The mesh 'Winter' dress has the look of a  sleek skirt and high neck sweater. The abstract design on the front adds a nice detail to the top. 'Winter' is available in  seven colours.

Simple Stance

As is probably apparent from this blog, I love hats and hats with hair even better.

New in the last couple of days is the 'Raspberry Beret' hat from Exile. The beret is colour change (thirteen colours)

Dreaming of Lucretia

It's the second week of the month which means more events are opening their doors for their December cycle.

L'accessoires opened yesterday and the Gallery Gift shop will also open it's doors in the next day or so.

I am still searching for my blogging mojo, it seems to AWOL since I came home from vacation.

This will be another' this and that post' as I continue playing catch up with December's round of Collabor88, Blueberry and J.H.C

The *Uma* (MESH) High Waist Wide Leg Pants are a recent release over at J.H.C. The pants are available in four colours, black, brown, grey and toffee. Five mesh sizes are included and a demo is available in-store.

I also wearing Blueberry's 'Cindy Leather Jacket' in brown. The jacket/t-shirt combo is available in nine colours. Each colour includes seven t-shirt colours.

Hello there, I'm back.

I haven't blogged anything for a month (yikes). I have been on vacation for almost three weeks and in a post vacation sulk for the other week. So if I can remember how, here is a blog to show you a couple of new to me things.

Put your hands up

I hesitate to mention the Christmas word (oops seems that I did) but party season is creeping up on us.

Roof Top

I have quite a collection of leather jackets in SL, mostly system layer stuff but I do have a couple of nice mesh ones too.

My latest is the rigged mesh 'Lina' jacket from Blueberry.

Izzie Button's newest skin 'Geanna' was released in the last couple of days and she is a beauty.

The skin is available in ten skin tones. As with all of Izzie's skins you get a lot for your money.

Wrong side of the tracks

I took another trip over to the new FaMESHed build and it looks great. Obviously I wasn't there just to admire the architecture :) I did pick up a couple of pretty things too.

Pinch, Punch! it's the first of the month, nope! I haven't lost my marbles, it's an English expression said at the beginning of a new month.

New from ISPACHI is the 'Demeter Dress'. It is available in ten colours and five mesh sizes are included.

The belt is colour change via a hud (three colours black, brown and colour match to the dress)

Boldly Go

The bold prints on the mesh 'Lotus' dress from 22769 have a distinct retro feel. The dress is available exclusively at The Zodiac Event (October 23- November 16)

Heading in the right direction

Mirja Mills over at EMO-tions releases new hair styles almost every weekend. Here are just a few new items from the last several weeks.

'SILJA' is a curly two-in-one style. A click will change it from a loose ringlet style to a neater style with a hair band.

'TAYLOR' has a more formal look and another two-in-once style. A click will change from a side sweeping loose curls style to a side swept twisted style.

MALAIKA' has a long pony tail of braids. The scarf is texture change (six textures) via a touch menu.

The hair is available in eight colours and a demo is available in-store.

My earrings are from Bens Beauty, the 'October'set also includes a necklace.

My 'Boo' necklace is by Izzie Button and exclusively available at the 'Perfect Wardrobe' event.

Mayfair Morning

I have another coat to show you. I seem to be coat crazy the last couple of weeks.

'Nikki' is from Blueberry. I am wearing the pink and blue, it's also available in five other colours. Five mesh sizes are included and a demo is available in-store.

My hat is the 'Fascinating Fascinator' from 22769 and available in sixteen colours at L'accessoires. Also available at L'accessoires is the 'Studded Clutch' from Handverk. The bag is available in twelve colours.

My 'Steph II' hair is a new release from Alice Project and available at 'Zodiac'

My shoes are an older item and are 'Oshun' from Pixel Fashion.

I teamed the blue version of the coat with a pair of old non mesh jeans from Sakide and the sleeveless 'Leonie 'sweater in grey from J.H Couture. My flats are the 'flowered flats' in the powder colour option, from Izzie's

My hair is courtesy of Dura and is a group halloween gift in-store.

Green Sleeves

Are you in Exile's subscribo? I hope so! as Kavar Cleanslate kindly sent out three fat packs of hair. The styles are all past 'limited colour' releases from The Dressing Room Blue'. I particularly like Betty-Lou and Rayanne.

Also new for this round of  'Zodiac' is the mesh 'Hiba' dress from Bilo, available in three colours. The dress has a great texture and falls to mid calf length (great for boots) the embroidered smocking gives an extra touch of detail to the bodice.

My necklace and earrings are available exclusively at this round of L'accessoires and are by the talented Matchbook Monday from Amorous. The 'Fallen' set is available in eight colour options.

My boots were a group gift from Blueberry. The 'Sherlie' mesh boots are over the knee boots, five mesh sizes are included, other colours are available both at Blueberry's in word store and the Marketplace.

Has Bean

I fell instantly 'in like' with the shape of the 'Katey hat , it has a cute little kitty eared shape. The hair/hat is from [monso] and available at this round of 'Fair. I am wearing brown 3 which is part of the cookie pack.

I am wearing the 'Pleated Velvet' skirt from Valentina E. Couture . It was available yesterday for 'Lazy Sunday' The skirt is available in other colours at the regular price in-store. Five mesh sizes are included.

My sweater is from JHC and is the 'Leonie' sweater in black.

I liked the Ison 'Kippen Wedge' boots so much I went back to Collabor88 and picked them up in tangerine too (they look red to me) I teamed them with a pair of the new 'Sheer Tights' in black from Izzie's.

My bag is currently available at L'accessoires and is the Rockstud Bag in black by ^^Swallow^^.

Lastly my jewellery. The 'Coffee Bean' jewellery set is by Izzie Button and exclusively available at 'Fair' The set includes two styles of necklace, classy and casual, earrings and bracelets (left and right) I am wearing the classy version.

I am wearing 'Shyla' tan 07 and added the eye liner and cherry lipstick from Izzie's 'Fuyu' skin.

Ahoy

Ahoy! A quickie post to show you the 'Parka' coats from 22769.

They are available at 'The Men's Department' which maybe gives you a bit of a heads up, yeah they are for guys, BUT, I am wearing the size XS and it looks okay (I think)

The coat is available in four colours, I am wearing army green and Sam is wearing the midnight blue option, snow white and pitch black are also available.

Sam wasn't quite brave enough to let me sail his beloved boat, but he did let me pretend I was haha!

Morning Coffee

I really like autumnal shades. I particularly liked the colour of the 'Holly Tunic' dress.  The mesh dress is a hunt gift from 22769 for the ' Autumn Hunt'  (20th October 4th November). Five mesh sizes are included. All hunt items cost L$5.

Keeping to my autumn colour palate, I am wearing a new release from Izzie's the 'Sheer Tights' I am wearing cherry which is part of the colours pack. Fifteen colours are included. There is also a 'Basics' pack which includes 15 neutral tones (black, brown, grey and cream shades)

My hat is available at L'accessoires and is the mesh 'Casquette' hat. The hat it texture change (seven textures) via a touch menu. I am wearing the knit version. The hat is also available in a plain and check version.

I am loving the 'Kippen, Wedge Boot' from Ison, it's currently available at Collarbor88, I am wearing the desert version.

Broke Back Piggy

I fear piggy banks all over SL are in danger of being smashed open to get a hold of the shoes and bags currently available at L'accessoires (poor piggies)

The mesh 'Lois' shoes from Miamai are available in fifteen colours. It's a very stylish full shoe which has a wrap around front and slim heel.

You can never have enough shoes and bags, who said that? hmm maybe I did. The 'Rockstud Bag' from ^^Swallow^^  is available in a range of eight colours which includes a couple of animal print textures (leopard and zebra)

My poor mesh 'Oink' piggy  is a new release from Sway's it's available in three versions, decoration only, tip jar with hover text and tip jar without hover text. Each piggy has six texture options via a touch menu.

Snake Eyes

The 'Cobra Queen' dress from 22769 is one of my favourite dresses EVER in SL. Everything about it appeals to me. It's available exclusively at the 'Cinema' event. Also available is the 'Cobra Queen' make-up and a mesh snake (shudders)

A Lara Croft-ish outfit and two mesh outfits for the guys 'Special Ops' & 'Diktator' are also exclusively available at 'Cinema'

Last but not least from 22769 is the mesh 'Dragon Temple' for RP or just for decoration.

I added the beautiful 'Swan Jewelled Brows' from Purple Moon, available exclusively at L'accessoires'. Included are both brows on one attachment point and left and right single brows. They are available in six colours and a fat pack version

The Moment

Tsukimi (Moon Viewing) is a Japanese festival to honour the autumn moon.

Sway Dench has created a very cute folding screen, futon and moon bunny to commemorate the event. The futon has eight single and five couples poses.

The pose used is from In~Stance and is 'The Moment' which has a couple both looking at a camera for an 'important moment' piccy. Of course I am having my important moment with my favourite nerd, Sam.

Fuyu

Haha! nope I'm not cursing at you. Fuyu is the new skin release at Izzie's

Fuyu is available in eight skin tones, porcelain, fair, pale, sun kissed, caramel, deep tan, mocha and cocoa, I am wearing caramel.

Eight 'clean' base skins are included. Cleavage and non cleavage versions in dark, light, blonde and red brows. The two darkest tones (mocha and cocoa) include only the dark brow versions.

Onto the tattoo layer make-up options, twelve lip colours, twelve eye-shadows, black eye-liner, blush, face freckles and face and body freckles are included. You also get a  modifiable shape, eyebrow shape and a glove layer nail base (for prim nails)

My hair/hat combo is 'Alex from AUSHKA&CO. I picked it up yesterday as a 'Lazy Sunday' item, I think the lazy Sunday item will be gone, but the hair is on sale at full price too. This is not mesh hair.

Autumn Leather

A staple item for most SL wardrobes is a leather jacket. There are a lot to choose from, but if you are looking for something more stylish than a biker jacket, head on over to J.H.C and check out the mesh 'Tina' jacket.

Available in four colours, black, brown, mocca and toffee. Two versions are included, gold metal and silver metal. This is a versatile item for your autumn/winter SL wardrobe.

Also new this week are the mesh 'Lori' skirts available in the same colours as the jackets. Together they make a smart leather skirt suit, either worn in a matching or coordinating colour. The jacket works nicely with skirts or pants. Mesh sizes XS to L are included.

The 'Willow' leather pants give the jacket a more edgy feel. Mesh sizes XXS to L are included and demo's are available in-store.

While I love mesh, I have not given up entirely on non mesh items. J.H.C has some great looking sweaters available to wear under mesh jackets etc. '*Leonie*  is a sleeveless turtle neck available in ten colours.

Lazy Sunday

Sunday is supposedly the day of rest. I am usually playing catch up on blog posts, doing rl house stuff and racing around before the dreaded Monday rolls round again.

It would be nice if I could spend my Sunday afternoon's chilling out, eating cake and listening to music.

I am wearing the mesh ' Fall Babydoll Dress' which is a collaboration design from Nyu and The Secret Store. The dress is available in ten colours (amaranth, ash,charcoal, copper, crimson, emerald, forest, iris, prussian and snow) and five mesh sizes. I am wearing the copper colour.

Freitas

New this week at Ispachi is the mesh 'Freitas Hoodie'. You may have already seen the male hoodies from Ispachi and now we girls can get in on the meshy goodness too.

The hoodie is available in eight colours, Beige, Black, Green, Blue, Red, White, Pink and Yellow and four pattern colour options.

Each colour pack includes five mesh sizes XXS to L. Also included is a texture changeable version, via the included HUD you are able to change the hood, sleeves, cuffs and drawstrings.

Hair Raising

Although it's still several weeks away, halloween fever seems to be running through SL. I have seen some great costumes and skins already, I haven't seen so many halloween inspired hair do's.

Although not specifically created for halloween this weeks new release from EMO-tions 'Anushka' would make a great addition to your costume.

Available in eight colours, two versions are included, one with a tiny crystal studs intertwined and one without.

A matching hair base is included and demo's are available in-store.

I am on location again at Izzie Button's beautiful autumn sim. While there I thought I would fly my kite and show off the new skirts from Bilo.
