Santa's Sweetheart

Yet more prezzies for meeee.  I must have been a really good girl this year or Santa has a crush on me, don't know which but the gifts just keep on coming.

Skins galore (if galore means 2)  There are skins available in both the Curio group (left side of pic) and the Glam Affair (right side of pic) group (30L$ join fee) both equally as beautiful.

I am toying with buying a pack of the latest Glam Affair skin 'Jadis' and the Christmas gift is going a long way to persuade me.

I always liked Curio skins but thought they were better suited to the cute tiny girls not the leggy giant girls of SL, seems I was wrong as the Ice Queen skin is just fabulous, if only I could get red gloss that great in RL.

I also grabbed one of the newest releases from Glamorize, the Glam Mascara costing me a grand total of 5L$ for 4 eyelash tats! I can edit a pair of prim lashes but really why bother when you can just pop a pair of tattoo lashes and you are out the door.

52 Weeks of Colour-Green

 

Green the colour of life, I do wear green often in SL as Asia is usually a brunette with hazel eyes and it works on Ms Romano.

I decided to use several shades of green and top it off with a hat (love hats)

Oh the weather outside is frightful

.....but the shopping in SL sooooo delightful.

It's a public holiday today in the UK, the weather is bloody awful so I am trying to catch up on any bargains and Christmas gifts I may have missed out on over my 4 day break from SL (flu and enforced family closeness) and let me tell you Ladies there are gifts a plenty out there, most of which have probably been posted by now.

First up is a totally chic looking Santa inspired coat and hat, it's like Santa meets from Russia with love and I totally <3 it. I am wearing LAQ's free Christmas makeup skin,Vilda, it comes in all the usual tones and with either a dark or light brows,click the subscribo.

Maitreya, Truth and Exile all have free Christmas 'do's' for us to unwrap so put down your chocolates wear your stretchy pants and scoot over to get them. They are all available in suscribos no group slot to use up, speaking of which where are the 40 groups slots we were promised?

Time machine to Imani

Mercedes Barony has some uber inexpensive items in her Imani store. Everything is priced at 10L$, dresses, pants, hair and eyes are available. I picked up a couple of things that instantly reminded me of two very specific looks.

Yellow is probably one of the least likely colours I would choose to wear or buy, so this weeks challenge was a bit of a stretch for me.I sneaked in a bit of citrus green to stop myself looking like a total lemon :)

Shuuuush....It's a secret.

I fell in love with the The Secret Stores, Happy Holiday Hunt prize. The Silver Snowflake coat is totally gorgeous.

I could imagine Audrey Hepburn wearing this it's very 1960s in design with it's monotone floral print and the A line shape, love it! All hunt gifts are 10L$ and a steal.

I tp'd over to Pixel fashion to check out the new shoe release 'Oshun'. The store is very wintery/christmas themed which took a very long time to rez for me, there are different ways  you can actually tp to the store I got bored waiting and took the quick tp (which rezzed first).

The shoes are available in eight colours. They are colour change (4 variations of the main colour) costing 450$ OR for two days the fat pack is half price at 1200L$.

I don't know when the two days started or ends so rush over right now if you want the fatpack at a great price.

Short cut to.....

Just a quickie blog to show the free cute short hair I found. The hair is from *eha and comes in six colours with a resize script.

Nice Ice Baby!

It's still arctic here in jolly old England so keeping in the OMG I'm freezing mood I went to check out the FTLO Ice Festival.

The sim is story book pretty with cute little snow topped huts housing some great stores. About 50 shops participate in FTLO Ice festival and each shop provide exclusive 100L product and treasure hunt prize.
Find Snow objects (snow flakes I think) around the sim.

Red Alert

R.icielli are having a pre Christmas sale, all red items are 20L$ yep! only twenty.

I tp'd over yesterday the place was mobbed, after waiting for 15 minutes or so some of the store finally rezzed and I managed to pick up a few things.  There is also some kind of hunt going on find the silver or gold stars and buy for 10L$ I only saw one that had rezzed so I snapped it up. You don't want to miss this opportunity, I am going back to get the jackets lag permitting.

I'm just a doll

Still skipping/lagging through this seasons hunts.

Found a super cute trouser, braces and t-shirt at {paper.doll}. These trousers are bang up to date with the extended waist and super tight fitting around the hips.  What's even better is that the clothes come on different layers to enable you to play around with jackets and different shirts. In short this is a great find.

I am going to have a further look around {paper.doll}I am in the mood for shopping today.

Talented Gentlemen

Two very talented gentleman who are among the biggest movers and shakers in the SL beautification game played early Santa over the last couple of days.

Kavar Cleanslate's Exile spoiled us with a preview of the new male skin line 'Mechanic' and for the Ladies the hair 'do'-'Rina' in chocolate swirl. I really like this hair it's sex kitten meets glamour girl meets my inventory pretty soon :). Head over to Exile and click the subscribo for both gifts.

Belleza 'Erika' Group Gift & Exile 'Rina' (subscribo gift)

Tricky Boucher seems to have been missing in action for a while, but he is back to tempt us with a sneak peek at his upcoming skin release 'Erika'. The Belleza group has a joining fee of L$250 which is so worth it as there are regular group gifts for both male and females. The gift is available in the group notices and comes in six skin tones.

I like Belleza skins they are more mature looking and very classically beautiful and Tricky makes some of the hottest male skins on the grid.

A Hunting We Will Go..

Clear your inventories and start your engines Ladies & Gents, the festive season hunts and advent gifites has begun.

There is no way I will even try to complete all these hunts, I will as always cherry pick my way through them and get what I want. Pictures of 'Juicy Babe Lip' 40 lipstick layers-40L$ BARGAIN!

As the tattoo layer makeup continues to sweep the grid, I have to hold my hand up and admit I am addicted to this new phenomonon. Prices vary from store to store but for pure choice/selection and SL wallet friendliness you have to check out Glamorize.

Yoko Coco & Mica have created some really nice makeup layers, that range from lipsticks,glosses, eyeshadows and liners.

These are busy creative girls and their Glamorize store has skins, hair (and hair bases) nails, shoes, shapes, sun glasses and a selection of uber inexpensive clothes are also available and their jewellery line seems to increase every time I tp there, but for me it's the makeup layer tattoos that draw me back.

Their latest release included a lipstick layer for bigger lips and it fits my shape much better (so if you are reading more lipstick for us pout obsessed girls please)

I just need to overcome my aversion to the new viewer and be able to use multiple tattoo layers.

52 Week of colour-Plum

Week four, Plum. OK first I want to say that I am going to try to do this challenge without going and buying new stuff in a specific colour. My inventory is an Aladdin's cave of things I either have not unpacked, or that I have forgotten about, I will try to do the challenge from what I have.

What I think of as plum is darker than the swatch Luna showed on her blog but confusingly my bukka colour change belt had plum as an option and well it looks dark pink to me and the G. Field shoes are described as plum..hmmm confused much? anyway it's all subjective.

Gone to London to see the.......

....great separates and dresses London Dailey has at her Pink Outfitters store. London creates amazing hand drawn clothes that are both stylish and versatile, I will be putting these into my often worn folder for sure.

52 Weeks of colour-Goldenrod

Week Three in Luna's challenge-Goldenrod. I admit it I typed goldenrod into my inventory search and it came up with one pair of boots, so I had to add gold, I did keep it to a minimum hence the booty, kini shot. I cheated and recolored the hat. I found a useful site here

I tinted the hat to dark goldenrod it looks a bit bronze/brown to me *shrugs. Goldenrod was the toughest colour challenge so far, designers please more goldenrod.

If you want to get ahead, get a hat

Kyoot are going out of the hair business it seems. There are a couple of styles available, I demoed this a while ago and thought it was kind of cute, but not something I would wear much, fast forward to today add in a reduced price(50L$-one colour) and hey presto Asia has another cute hat/hair combo, the hair comes with three different coloured hats, but I recoloured it to match my old Callie Cline belt.

My all in one, jumpsuit, romper thingy was free at Mimi's Choice, its by Connors and can be found in one of the bags laying around the store, I really like the simplicity of this look.
